Mancy A'lan Kane

Ok, this isn't really my sort of music. She has a high happy voice, which grates on my inherantly grumpy self. Her name indicates to me that she's a fugitive from the Goa'uld system Lord, either that or alien apostrophe disease is spreading further.

Paper Moon - Mancy A'lan Kane

Prettier Colours Soundbite

Well this is a CD I wouldn't have bought, it was one of the ones I won. It lacks substance. It's a kind of sweet, light, happy, gooey, icky thing. I sound very mean I know, I just don't like this sort of thing, it's too airy fairy.

Ok, I don't even understand the whole paper moon thing, I mean it doesn't make sense. Does it? I'll just blame it on that faded paper moon, nope, don't get it, is it a metaphor? I have no idea, I'll forget about it I think. I mean I'm also a little confused as the CD doesn't seem to be Christian just weird soppy love songs. I'm not saying all songs have to be Christian, it's just I thought she was a Christian artist. I don't really care either, I just don't really want to listen to this soppy stuff, I want to listen to something with a tune and good lyrics. There's probably lots of people who'd love this CD, not me. Some of the songs are a little better than others, I think the first is the most annoying, but maybe I just got used to the style further through the CD, I don't know. Anyway it's all kind of soppy love stuff, without much to it.
