"The greatest rock and roll band ever." Named after a Muddy Waters song, The Rolling Stones are the longest running rocking and roll band. They were influenced by Chicago Blues. The song "Satisfaction" was a turning point in The Stone's career. Before that song is what I like to call their "Pre-Satisfaction Era." "Pre-Satisfaction Era" has a double meaning, it was before they came out with the song "Satisfaction" and that they got no satisfaction, meaning, that they sold few albums. Not only did "Satisfaction" give them their fame, it also showed their agressive side. Anyway, they bolted out more hits, such as, "Anybody Seen My Baby," "It's Only Rock and Roll," and "Beast of Burden." I am a fan of their soft side, shown in songs like "As Tears Go By," and "Anybody Seen My Baby." Hopefully, they will come out with more great tunes in the future.
