| NEWS: (June 2006) I'm currently residing in Penticton BC (the S. Okanagan) After almost 4 years after the tour 02', I had finally bought a well sounded replacement to take the role of my prized Nevada guitar. It is a sexy blue Tradition Acoustic-Electric that I'm sure you'll love as much if not more. The Band VOISE, as in the Melding of Voice & Noise, was founded in 2001 when Phily took it upon himself to form a group of talented artists from the Vancouver BC area into a supergroup. After the lack of readily available talent failed to materialize, he decided to form the group and a record label Nebula Records by himself with his many talented personalities. Collaberation was the only other option, since Phily wasn't about to just sit back and wait for someone else to start doing the work for him. He aquired a home studio and went to work, and after 6 short months with the collaberation of Susan (formerly Zoopeep), the 1st official CD Release from Nebula Records was born... Voise - The Beginning. With help from Zoopeep, they went on World Tour from May 02'-Oct 02' promoting the album and the band, gaining recognition in Auckland NZ, LosAngeles CA, Vancouver BC, Barrie & Toronto ON, London ENG, and Edinburgh SC. Unfortunately for Phily, his prized Nevada hand crafted acoustic guitar was destroyed at the London Gatwick airport cause of incompetence on the part of the MyTravel.com airline staff, we're still in legal battles at the moment regarding compensation. So no live shows were done in the UK, but a follow-up tour is planned for some time in the next couple years when the next album is planned for release. VOISE wishes all the fans a thank you for all the support that's been givin during these trying times and promises to keep the music coming and sounding better than ever. |
