You'd better be prepared to stand in line if you want to rope yourself an 'N Sync studmuffin, since JC Chasez, Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass and Joey Fatone are some of the most lip-smackin', sought after boys in the world. However, we here at BOP feel your pain. Being the always-ready-to-help chicas that we are, we persuaded yummy JC to give us a few ideas on what kinds of traits his ideal girl would possess. So, whip out those pads and pencils, ladies, take some notes, and get prepared to cast a spell on JC if that fateful day should come when you find yourself in his babely midst.
"Patience is number one," states the 22-year-old talent with the sultry blue eyes. "Honesty, of course. But patience, as I know now, just because right now, even though love should come first, I put my career first." Basically, JC is saying that a girl whom he gets involved with better be prepared to spend lots of lonely nights without him since he's usually off with his groupmates touring and promoting their 1998 self titled debut album. (But you know he'll always be close to your heart-just give songs such as "Tearin' Up My Heart," "I Just Wanna Be With You" or "I Drive Myself Crazy" a spin as you slumber.)
Here's another requirement for the JC-minded gal pal. "I need somebody who can put up with me going to work," JC says, "'cause I am kind of a workaholic." That shouldn't be too hard to do-after all, it's his awesome voice and groovin' dance moves that made us pay attention to him and his groupmates in the first place, right?
Despite all the inconveniences of being involved with JC-the long distant phone calls, the dateless weekends and the knowledge that there are hundreds of girls all over the world who are poised and ready to roll up on your man at all times-there are many (okay, like a gazillion) upsides to being JC's main squeeze. For example, who wouldn't want a boyfriend who could sing sweet-nothings in her ear or be the one he's singing about when he belts out love songs like "God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You"?
JC says that if you're interested in him, go ahead, step up to the plate and ask him out. "Hey, ask me. Ask me!" pleads the cute crooner, who loves chowin' on Chinese food, by the way. Believe it or not, girls who actually make the first move are pretty few and far between. "I've probably been asked out twice in my life," sighs this lovely Leo. "A girl who asked me out was my longest girlfriend."
There you have it, straight from the hottie's mouth. Looks like JC appreciates a little take-charge action (but remember, there's a difference between taking charge and being pushy.) So heed JC's words, and who knows, even if you never have the opportunity to engage him or any of the other 'N Sync boys in conversation and win them over with your fabulous charm, you might just captivate that honey in your homeroom class by putting some of JC's advice into practice!
