Burt Ward

Burt Ward was born and raised in what he calls "the slums of Beverly Hills." He was into sports and his studies a great amount, and only marginally into comics when he was younger. At UCLA, during his second year of studies, he was called out of class "for the first role I ever auditioned for." From there on he knew acting was in his blood. His favorite comic characters were Superman & Superboy, so he really didn't know much about Batman when they asked him to play the role of Robin on the show.
