A LUKE HALPIN PAGE!

Last updated 14 January 1999.

We have discovered that there seems to be no fan page devoted exclusively to perennial teen sex god Luke Halpin on the Internet, except for pages full of frame grabs from "Flipper." We intend to remedy that as soon as possible. IN FACT we may be adding a lot of material very soon -- we hope -- for all of you who want to know more about Luke Halpin than his life as "Sandy Ricks." Admittedly, after four movies (five if you count his cameo in the 1996 Elijah Wood-Paul Hogan Flipper) and thirty-five years of the original "Flipper" TeeVee series in re-run heaven, it's hard to think of Luke Halpin as anything but Sandy Ricks, but we hope to change that with this page. It will give those who know nothing about Luke Halpin a chance to learn about him, and those who grew up with him a chance to make like a Coral Keys High School Class Reunion.

How popular is Luke Halpin? He's so popular that the original Flipper (better known to some as Mój przyjaciel delfin), which starred Chuck Connors, is even seen in Poland! (At least, we think it's in Poland.) He's so poular that he has friends in Australia. He's so popular that he's even in a book. He's sooo popular that even his feet are Internet stars!

Luke Halpin is such an international hep cat that when the original Flipper passed away, the news was even reported in Costa Rica! He is such an international star that even his bad movies are featured in film festivals around the world!

AND Luke is so darned classy that he has even joined with Samuel Beckett, Burgess Meredith, and Zero Mostel while they were Waiting For Godot . . . who didn't even bother to show up!

For a lot of pictures, take a look at Star Galaxy, for info on Luke's long career, visit The Internet Movie Database.

For a brief biography of Luke and a filmography, visit the Luke Halpin page set up by our friends at Y.M.S.

Want to know who who else shares Luke's April 4th birthday (besides the insane Roman Emperor Caracalla, Blues great Muddy Waters, poet Maya Angelou, and actor Craig T. Nelson)? Click here.

Please BOOKMARK this page and keep checking as we add material.
