Starship Troopers is the movie for Robert J. Heinlein fans! Despite many critics who have said that the first hour of the film is slow, it is not boring to those who have read and admire Heinlein's writings. Much of the essence of the author's personal philosophy has been packed into the first hour of the film (before all of the cool action stuff). If you know and believe what TNSTAAFL means, then Starship Troopers is for you, citizen!

James Morse (second from left), a Mobile Infantry trooper, fights for his citizenship with Johnny Rico (Van Dien),
Dizzy Flores (Dina Meyer) and Sugar Watkins (Seth Gilliam).
