Meet Pooh Bear


Meet Piglet's friend - Winnie-The-Pooh.


Winnie-The-Pooh (Pooh Bear for short) lives in a house in The Hundred Acre Wood. The sign above his door reads: Mr. Sanders. (For a closer look see my map of The Hundred Acre Wood.)

Pooh Bear is usually considered to be Piglet's best friend and the two have many adventures together, such as: when they catch a Heffelump and when they find a Woozle.

Like most bears, Pooh is very fond of hunny and the very first chapter of "Winnie-The-Pooh" (by A.A. Milne) is about Pooh's quest for hunny which involves pretending to be "a little cloud floating in the blue".

Pooh is a very modest little bear and always claims to be "a bear with very little brain". Be that as it may, no bear has ever been kinder or more ready to help than Pooh.

One of Winnie-The-Pooh's most famous achievements is generally agreed to be finding The North Pole. Fancy a bear with "very little brain" being able to do that!!
