There has been alot of rumors going around about Kenner's newest POTF2 mail-in premium,
"The Spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi" figure. Now here is the correct info:

The figure is avilable only on Lays Pizza Chips (also known as "PizzaLays"). To get
the figure, all you have to do is send in 2 UPC's (proofs of purchase) from bags of Lays
products (Ruffles, Firtos, Lays, etc.), plus $1.99. No order form is needed and there is no
limit listed anywhere on the bag. That's the great part. The bad part is that the offer expires
June 1st, 1997. So, if it comes out around Super Bowl time, like planned, that gives you
only 5 months to get your figure(s).

And now onto the figure. It (as far as I can tell) has the same head as the first
POTF2 Obi-Wan, but with a one-piece body and a left arm bent more forward than the first
Obi-Wan. From what I hear, Kenner has done some re-tooling on the figure so the seam lines
and pegs inside the figure won't be as visable. Overall, form the pictures here, it looks
like its going to be a pretty cool figure, one that every STAR WARS collector has
to have.
