More Pictures of Ed

Here are some images captured from MILK MONEY. Thanks to Melissa for sending me these for the benefit of y'all!
So if you don't know the story behind MILK MONEY, here it is in a nutshell. Basically Ed plays Tom Wheeler, a single father bringing up a son who's just hit puberty. Ed's wife died, and since he's sort of a freak about nature - he's a science teacher - no women particularly have an interest in him. His son heads downtown with some of his buddies to find a prostitute and get his first taste of "sex." When the kid meets V (Melanie Griffith), he basically decides that she would make a good girlfriend for his dad. But he doesn't tell his father that V is actually a prostitute - she is his "tutor." Lots of weird hijinks follow on account of Malcolm McDowell, who basically plays a boss pimp who's trying to find V and his money, and because of the weird attraction between Tom and V.

So here's Ed as Tom. I think this scene occurs when he first sees V on his telephone at home. V had driven the kids home after their "encounter," but her car broke down in front of Ed/Tom's house, and she was trying to call for help. |
Here's Ed/Tom wearing a pretty terrible suit (which you can't see completely). I think that by this point, he has found out that V is actually a prostitute, and he's confronting his son about it, but I'm not positive (haven't seen the movie that many times!). He doesn't look very happy anyway. |
So here's Ed wrapped in some sort of blanket or something. In one of the many subplots of this movie, Ed is trying to save this little parcel of swamp/marshland from being bought out by the city and turned into a parking lot or something else environmentally unsound. This scene occurs very near the end of the movie, when Ed ties himself to the scene in order to prevent the bulldozers from wrecking the area. |
This is pretty much the actual ending. You can see Ed is happy, and he's cuddling his son (the only part of whom you can see is his mass of hair!). I won't tell you the ending but I'm sure you can guess it. I mean, movies like this don't end sadly. |
