Okay, speaking of slick people, here's Ed in CHINA MOON when he first hits on Madeleine Stowe. I don't remember him ever looking quite this suave in the movie, but hey, I can't remember everything. Of course this takes place when Ed's character is slightly drunk and slightly desperate for female attention. Poor Ed.

Here's Ed looking pretty depressed on account of his situation with Madeleine Stowe. He spends part of the movie trying to convince Madeleine that she should leave her husband, but she never does...until she kills him, of course. So in the meantime Ed is sort of left wondering what the heck he's doing with an unhappily married woman.

Can you tell that I happen to have a copy of the presskit!? Anyway, here's Ed trying to persuade Madeleine Stowe to ditch her creep of a husband for him or to just give up their relationship/affair. After all, affairs are not the best things in the world. Ed's characters do have a knack for getting involved in them though.

Here the two partners - Benicio Del Toro and Ed - are sitting in the car during a rainstorm. Absolutely thrilling. I forget exactly when this happened in the movie.

So here's Madeleine Stowe, Ed, and Benicio Del Toro taking the stairs and inspecting the scene of the crime. By this point the evil husband has been "taken care of," and somehow Ed has amazingly become involved in trying to detect who killed the husband. Too bad it seems that Ed's killed him - even though it was actually Madeleine who did it, and Ed was just helping her hide the gory details (like the body!). But that's like aiding and abetting a felony or something, which is very illegal too.

Here's Benicio Del Toro (on the left) and Ed from checking out a bullet and trying to figure out what caliber it is. Interestingly enough it turns out to be the type that Ed's gun fires - but he wasn't the one who killed the evil husband! I love Ed in a suit. I don't know why. I think it's just the whole suit thing - it has a way of making guys look really good and clean-cut. Maybe that's just me though.
