The Ed Harris Photo Gallery - THE TRUMAN SHOW
|
Here's another view of Ed in the control room with some of his cronies during the "climax" of the movie - Truman's attempted escape. Check out that guy to Ed's left (our right). After all that, he really was the cranky old guy in THE ROCK who suggested using John Mason in the Alcatraz mission and who said he had to take a piss three times a night. He is either not listed in the credits for THE ROCK or I just can't quite figure out what his character is called in THE TRUMAN SHOW. |
Ed is sitting in front of "the moon" again, but it looks like he's behind a huge desk instead of in his cushy chair or anything. I think this scene takes place when he's being interviewed by Harry Shearer about the logistics and the success of THE TRUMAN SHOW. |
Okay, so Ed's nails are really long here. Is this a tv? A laptop? I still don't know. But it's a way for Ed to communicate with Truman - when he finally has to near the end of the movie. |
Gosh, Ed really DOES spend all his time in the control room. Either that or PARAMOUNT has only released images from about two minutes of the movie, which I suppose is entirely possible. There's that sneaky guy again just behind Ed from THE ROCK. This image is also from the climax of the movie. |
Ed never looks happy; he always seems so serious or intent or meditative. I think he smiled a total of once during the movie. During this scene Christof orders some sort of attack on Truman - I think this is where he orders a storm on the high seas. He might just be checking up on the troops - the entire cast has been dispatched to hunt him down. |
