Michael Burke was Vanessa's physical therapist over in Switzerland, but he hasn't done too much. Michael was having an affair with a woman named Celeste who was married. Celeste was suffering from the same disease as Vanessa, so Michael helped her end her life, which prompted Celeste's husband to get Michael's medical license revoked. Michael followed Vanessa to Springfield and became a physical therapist at Cedars, but was fired for giving Vanessa medicine. He worked for Annie, developing her new perfume, Simply Annie, but then began acting strangely and talking to cats. He told Vanessa he was trying to find a cure for her disease, but he was really working on human cloning, which he accomplished by cloning the presumed-dead Reva. Now Michael is peeved that he is getting no credit for his work.
