Dastardly Dinah managed to dredge up Cassie's ex-husband, Rob, in her plot to make Hart and Cassie pay. Rob was in a halfway house after his jail term for drug dealing. Dinah got him to come to Springfield to get Cassie back. It appeared that Cassie still kinda dug him, and that maybe Dinah did too. Rob has helped Dinah at every turn in her quest to break up Hart and Cassie, and even accused Cassie of sleeping with Josh. But his usefulness to Dinah was outlived after Dinah seduced him in her attempt to convince Hart that she was pregnant with his child. After doing the horizontal mambo with Dinah, Rob left town for Chicago.
