What happened to MMC?
The new Mickey Mouse Club started in 1988, lasting for 7 seasons. It ended October 22, 1994 when the majority of the older 'Mouseketeers' wanted to go off to college and quit the show. Re-runs of MMC were aired up until 1997.
What was MMC?
MMC was, as Justin Timberlake described it, 'a Saturday Night Live for kids'. All cast members were extremely talented in acting, singing, and dancing. Most of them were even equipped with a dazzling charm. Each 30 minute episode was packed with Mouseketeers performing current music hits, complete with choreography. Many skits were acted out through the majority of the show. Their purpose was to make people laugh and have a good time. Whether it was pieing each other in the face, running away from talkative 'Natalie Know-it-all' Noozle, or just being silly, MMC was a classic that many will never forget.

What Mighta Been...
This may come as a shock to you but what stands today may have been totally different on an account of a few things. Let me explain! It is a little known fact that Backstreet Boy, Nick Carter, was supposed to be on MMC along with Justin and JC. Nick turned the job down to pursue a group that later became the BSB. Well, what if Nick had turned down Lou Pearlman and joined the MMC crew instead? When Chris recruited Justin and JC a few years later, after MMC was over, to start *N Sync, would Nick have been added too? That's something to think about. Imagine.... Nick Carter as an *N Syncer? Here's another possibility to ponder.... What if MMC was never cancelled? What if it lasted for let's say... 4 more years or so. Where would *N Sync be? Non existant? Possibly. Chris would not have asked Justin to join his group if he were still a member of MMC! But Chris knew Joey... Would they have started something? Hmmm... Enter BSB once more. Howie Dorough went to school with Chris. They were both in the choir. Maybe they would have hooked up. There are so many possibilities. I think I like what has REALLY happened the best out of all these crazy but possible scenarios! So, even though it is a shame that MMC ended, look what came out of it! All good things do come to an end, but they lived happily ever after.
