Starring: Ellen Degeneres, Joely Fisher

Judging by her numerous appearances on Leno and Letterman, Ellen Degeneres is a widely respected individual in Hollywood. Her foray into the sitcom arena, however, is a sub-standard affair, that purloins more than a few situations from Seinfeld. Degeneres is hardly amusing and her entourage is nowhere as endowed as Seinfeld's. Joely Fisher who plays Ellen's neurotic friend, is making appearances on talk shows herself, and I realize she doesn't have to dig deep to play her character.
