Hello again! Today I am going to talk about my favorite movie, and how it became my favorite. Well, at least it's my favorite movie at the moment, it often changes! ^_^ Back to the Future... the movie that every 80's kid had seen... except me -_- But that changed over the summer.... I couldn't sleep. I just watched the late show with Jay Leno, (Yes, that is late. In my time zone it finishes at 1:30.) and I still couldn't get to sleep. So I turned off my TV. Half an hour later, I still couldn't get to sleep! So on the TV went, and I saw on the prevue channel that Back To The Future was on TBS. I watched most of it, I missed some of the beginning and middle... but it amazed me... Michael J. Fox, is very cool of course. We have a big life size cut out of him in our basement. He's short ^^ Anyways, the movie just got my attention. I just liked it... It's one of those movies you just can't hate. Then one day I wasn't feeling very well, and I had to go to softball, which I didn't really want to. I plumped down on my bed, sighed, and turned on my TV. La la la... Hey! Guess what was on? You guessed it! Unfortunatelly I only saw the first... But it lifted my spirits ^_^ A week or so later my friend and I rented the first and second part from Back to the Future. We watched the first one, (very cool, of course,) and then we started to watch the second one but I had to go to softball early! Noooo! Well, I only saw the first 20 minutes of it. Tsk tsk. So I rented the second one a couple weeks ago. Tres cool! ^_- I watched it sooo many times, (it was a three day rental.) But just a warning, if you haven't seen the first, don't see the second. You will be totally confused! So I watched... and I watched... and I watched! ^_^ And that's the story. Sort of. A lot of Back to the Future related stuff happened before that late night in July.
When I was little, our cinema still only had two theaters. In one was "The Little Mermaid" and in the other was "Back to the Future II". My mom took me to the the first movie, and my dad took my brother to the second movie. (By the way, two fins up for The Little Mermaid! ^_-) Anyways, when TLM was over, my mom took me in to sneak a lil' bit of BTTF 2. The only thing I remember is Marty on the hover board in 1955 hanging onto Biff's car. Of course I didn't know the names at the time! ^_^ Then we left. Or maybe I fell asleep. I dunno. The beginning of my viewing was stopped quickly, by the end! ^_^ On TV in the early 90's, BTTF 3 was shown on TV. I watched some of it with my dad, but I didn't care for it that much. (Western's don't thrill me.) Then there was that CBS Saturday morning cartoon... I don't really remember that. I watched it sometimes. For the rest of the story, please refer to the first paragraph. ^_^ And no, I still haven't seen all of BTTF3, and I HAVE TO! It's on my list of things to do, see, all of the movies are continued one right after the other, so I'm left on a big annoying cliffhanger.
