Today I am here to rave about a certain movie. If you have your images on, then you probably know what it is by the image at the top. It's A Night at the Roxbury. I know it's probably left most peoples theaters by now, but I wasn't able to update this page because of technical reasons. But this movie is sooooo good! Why are the critics bashing it? Probably because it is a drama. Why can't comedys ever be praised? Yes, As Good As It Gets was nominated for a best picture oscar. But look who it stared, big man Jack Nicholson and Helen Hunt. Of course the critics would like it! But A Night at the Roxbury, now THAT was funny! I understand how some people wouldn't find it humorous, if they never saw SNL. But so far I only know of my brother that didn't like it. Even a girl I went to the movie with who never saw SNL thought it was funny! I mean, it's just so funny! And then, the more you think about it after you see it, you realize it's super funny! If you are a fan of Jerry McGuire you may like it. There is a spoof of it at the end, which I didn't get as I didn't see all of the movie, but I still laughed anyways.
Now, about the music. IT'S SO GOOD! I bought the soundtrack as soon as I could find it, (it was very hard to track down!) and I don't regret it at all. It puts me in a good mood and it's very upbeet. Some of the songs make me laugh, I dunno, just because. The songs are continuous, and it doesn't stop. At first I didn't like that, because it bugs me when CD's are like that. But when I played it the second or third time, it seemed very appropiate. Much more dance clubbish. I can't wait til I'm old enough to go to clubs! ^_^ I wish they would just play this CD at our school dances, instead of that rap shit. Ick. Rap. Oh well.
Oh yes, and for the people who think the previews for it weren't funny, see it anyways. I personally didn't think much of the preview, so I didn't have very high expectations for the movie, thankfully I was proved wrong! ^_^ A lot of the stuff from the previews is at the beginning of the movie.
