Here are some great books about Jim & the Doors. I highly recommend every one of these books:
Angels Dance and Angels Die by Patricia Butler, which is about Jim and Pam's relationship Light My Fire by Ray Manzarek, written by the Doors keyboardist, amazing insight and well written No One Here Gets Out Alive by Jerry Hopkins, I guess you could call this the definitive Doors biography. This is a must if you're looking for a great Doors bio. The Doors: an Illustrated History by Danny Sugerman, the story of the Doors though pictures and newspaper & magazine articles. Very interesting. Other books I highly recommend: The Lords and the New Creatures by Jim Morrison, a poetry book by Jim. Wilderness by Jim Morrison, the lost writings of Jim Morrison. Need I say more? American Night by Jim Morrison, another poetry book by Jim. He's such an amazing poet. If you've read a Doors book that you really liked isn't up here, email me and tell me about it :-)
