Light My Fire by Ray Manzarek, written by the Doors keyboardist, amazing insight and well written </p>

No One Here Gets Out Alive by Jerry Hopkins, I guess you could call this the definitive Doors biography. This is a must if you're looking for a great Doors bio.

The Doors: an Illustrated History by Danny Sugerman, the story of the Doors though pictures and newspaper & magazine articles. Very interesting. </p>
