I believe one of the reasons why we are no longer close friends is because we were never able to be truly honest with one another. We were always too scared to hurt the other persons feelings, which I'm sure is rather common in friendship, but it is much better to get problems out in the open and try to deal with them, rather than allowing them to come out during a fight. I still love her dearly as a friend, however I do have many regrets and it's hard for me to listen to this song without tearing up. She helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life and for that I'll be forever indebted to her. I did nothing but hurt her and I doubt I'll ever be able to forgive myself for that.
