54 Diner, Route 54, Buena. This place is in Buena. (I don't know how much you know about Buena, but it's kind of creepy.) Aside from it's location (which isn't in the really creepy part of town,) this is a really good diner. They have partial 50's juke. The food is good. The wait-staff is friendly. The orange juice is fresh. There's even a little history lesson about the diner on the back of the menu. All in all, pretty cool.
Five Points Diner, Routes 47 and 41, Deptford. The prices are a little, high but the food is very good, and the service is outstanding. I once even had a courteous waiter at Five Points who was as hot as he was friendly. We have juke in the smoking section, but non-smokers have to sit far away in a completely separate dining room. Pretty good.
Freeway Diner, Route 41 North, Deptford. I've been there once. I don't feel a pressing need to go back. There are juke boxes on SOME of the tables, and the food is good, but I had to ask twice for lemon, and there was nothing really spectacular about the place. It has mirrored ceilings and good onion soup, but it's halfway between the Phily and Five Points, and I would give both of the others a higher recommendation.
