WALK WITH ME

Let me take you down to the river
let me set you free
i want to walk into the water
let the waves rush over me...
Let me take you down to the ocean
submerge so that we can breath
i want to walk down on the bottom
come on and take a walk with me...

Let me take you into the forest
let me set you free
i want to climb the highest tree
and watch you wave on up to me....
Let me take you into the forest
we'll lay down and fall asleep
slumber on a bed of brown leaves
come on and take a walk with me...

Let me take you up to the heavens
let me set you free
i want to fly on up to the angels
and find the sweet serenity...
Let me take you up to the heavens
let me set you free
we can go back to the beginning
or we can stay in infinity
come on and take a walk with me...
please take my hand and walk with me......

OLD MAN

I met an old man who talked of his youth
as if he did'nt even exist today.
He talked of his conquest's,
he talked of his loves
but ,he never once mentioned his pain.
He spoke of his children his late wife had bore him,
and showed me his photograph's with pride,
But,now nobody calls him and nobody visits,
i could see he was dying inside.

CHILDVIEW

i don't like living next to the nuclear plant
we don't need to turn on the lights downtown
the people are starting to drop like flies
they still glow,as they go into the gtound.

i don't like the fact that the fish are all dying
you can't even eat the ones you can catch
it's all in the water , it's all in the fat
but no one is to blame,,,well,,imagine that.

i heard that the air is no longer fit to breath
i just inhaled a lungfull,,,,,,,,i know
i could hold my breath, untill i passed out
but then i'd be unconciously breathing though

i can't walk in the streets after dark anymore
the monsters are loose in the streets
the one's with the guns, the knives, and the fangs
are'nt the most pleasing people to meet

but,,,
it's so nice in here,i don't want to go outside
lying on my pillow, and dreaming away the world
it's so pleasant here alone with my flashlight
making shadows on the wall, out of harm, out of sight.

LOST CHILDHOOD

Put an end to her pain and suffering
put all of her reckless thought's to rest
let her sleep untill the morning
let all her sorrows be addressed

Do you think that she'd let me hold her
when she regresses once again
into the darkness that enfolds her
and haunting memories come rushing in

Will she cry upon my shoulder
can i calmly touch her face
and ease the tension that surrounds her
can her soul still be embraced

CHORUS: TOO MANY LIES ,TOO MANY TEARS A LOVE THAT'S WASTED THROUGH THE YEARS SO YOUNG-SO YOUNG,LIFE'S JUST BEGUN HOW QUICKLY CHILDHOODS DISAPPEAR

Put an end to her pain and suffering
let her take new breath again
let her sleep untill the morning
let inner peace come rushing in.....
Put and end to her pain and suffering
please release her from the pain
let her sleep untill the morning
and let the infant inside, smile again......

CALIFORNIA

California's calling me.... the leaves are brown here, and the ground is getting hard.... i watch the chidren in their jackets playing in the yard.... the sky grows dark, the waves are high, the wind begins to blow... the smell of dying leaves ,pumpkin seeds, and bitter cold touch my nose......

i look for my knitted hat in the closet down the hall... i feel a chill, the heat kicks on,oh! how i've alway's hated fall... summer seems so short a season,3 months of the year... the suns so bright it hurts my eyes, but my sunglasses are always near......

summer's when i fall in love with nature once again.... the screen door's open,i feel,i smell, the warm approaching rain.... summer's when i fell in love with you on the soft sand.... we'd walk along the water, kicking sand, walk hand in hand but now it's fall, and now you're gone, sometimes ,it's not meant to be i don't see why i should stay here now..... CALIFORNIA IS CALLING ME...... i don't see why i should be here now..... CALIFORNIA IS CALLING ME...... CALIFORNIA IS CALLING ME......
