Usagi looked around: all the other senshi were laying to the ground almost unconscious.
Dioptasio hit her again and forced Usagi to kneel down.
Sarcolite laughed: "You're dead, Sailor Senshi! It would have been better for you to give us your pure hearts without fighting: you'd have avoided the humiliation of being defeated!"
Dioptasio joined his brother in the laugh: "Sailor Moon, what do you feel in the few moments before death?"
A blast of little sharp black stars hit him.
Dioptasio turned in rage, but when he saw the masked girl in a Doom's Warrior outfit, he actually stared.
Eudial smiled wickedly at him: "If you are so curious about people's feelings just before death, I'll satisfy you immediately. Now you and your brother are going to die!"
Eudial attacked Dioptasio using all her powers and badly wounded him.
Dioptasio fell to the ground moaning.
Sarcolite was about to attack her, but, when he saw that the sailors were raising and that Dioptasio was wounded and they can't use their double attack, he decided that it would be safer for them to go away and teleported taking his brother with him.
When the senshi turned to see who was the new warrior, they noticed that the mysterious girl had disappeared.
"But...who was her?" Haruka said "Was she a friend or an enemy?"
The day after, Eudial was sitting in the garden of her house. Yuuko's parents were inside the house and she was alone with her thoughts.
"Yesterday I defeated my brothers, but I did it only because I caught them by surprise...If Sarcolite and Dioptasio decided to fight me, they'd have easily won. I had to improve my powers a little more and then I can beat them once for all."
Eudial looked sadly at the house. "Then I can tell the truth to the girls, but how I can have the heart to tell Himeko that she's not my mother? She really believes that I'm Yuuko and she'd die of sorrow if I destroy that dream..."
Eudial hid her face in her hands and weakly sobbed. "I wish I could talk of my problems with Usagi or one of the girls, but I can't. They hate me now! Oh, I miss my friends so much..."
A pebble hit her on the arm, taking her mind off her sadness.
Eudial looked at the gate of the garden and saw Diodite.
The witch grinned at her: "Hey! You look desperate, Eudial! Can I come in?"
Eudial walked towards the gate and opened it.
"Diodite! What are you doing here? Come in, but please, call me Yuuko, Mr. and Mrs. Arimura still believe that I'm their daughter..."
The two witches sat under a tree.
Diodite looked at the mansion: "It's a very big house. Your 'parents' must be very rich! I can believe that you don't want them to find out all your lies!"
Eudial looked at her in rage: "How dare you to think I am lying to them for money! I don't care at all of this house!"
Diodite laughed: "I knew you'd said that! Don't be mad at me, I was just joking. You've such a temper..."
Eudial sighed and didn't answered her.
Diodite stared at her: "Hey! What's the problem, Eu...Yuuko? I was sure you'd yelled at me..."
"I am too sad to quarrel, right now. I don't know what to do: if I tell the truth, Himeko will die or become insane for sorrow, but if I don't, Usagi and the other girls will hate me forever..."
Diodite glanced at Eudial: she never saw her rival so depressed and suddenly she felt sad for her.
"Why do you miss your friends so much?"
Eudial looked at her in surprise: "Why are you asking me that? Don't you have friends?"
Diodite averted her eyes: "No, I never had a friend. It seems that, in the whole universe, Rodoc is the only person who likes me..."
"This is sad. You're in my same situation, I can talk freely only with Silver, now." Eudial suddenly blushed. "Oh, forgive me, Diodite! I shouldn't have talked about Silver to you..."
Diodite smiled: "Don't worry. I'm not mad at you for winning our fight for Silver's love. On the contrary I'm happy of that, now. If Silver didn't refused me for you, I'd never find out what kind person Rodoc is."
"Yes, Rodocrosite is a nice and gentle boy. I'm happy for you!"
Diodite looked at Eudial and asked ironically: "Happy, or just relieved I'm no more after Silver?"
Eudial stared at her, then they both began to laugh.
"Are you a mind reader, now?" Eudial asked "I have to confess that I was relieved when you became Rodoc's girlfriend, but I'm also happy for you."
Diodite smiled at her: "Do you know? I was wrong: I have a friend. And I think she'll be soon my sister-in-law!"
Eudial stared at her: "Oh, Diodite, really? Oh! This means that Rodoc asked you to marry him!"
Diodite looked very happy: "Yes, and I think I'll accept to marry him. I hated you because of Silver, but now I'm grateful to you. Now I have both a friend and a boyfriend. I hope you can find soon a solution for your problems so you can be happy like I am now. If I can help you in some way, just ask."
Eudial hugged her and burst up in tears: "Thank you, Diodite! Please forgive me if I can't rejoice enough at your happiness, but there's nothing that could make me happy now! Please, Diodite, help me, I'm so frightened!"
Diodite let Eudial cry. "I'm sure she'll feel better after weeping out her grief." She thought "It's strange, I always saw her as a winner. When we were children, she was the strongest one, I'd never thought to see her so depressed and scared. I was envious of her strength. I never thought she could ask me for help..."
After a while Eudial calmed down and stopped sobbing.
"Are you better now?" Diodite asked.
Eudial wiped off the tears: "Yes, thank you..."
Suddenly they heard a scream coming from the house.
Eudial stood up: "It was Himeko! Let's go and see what's happened!"
The two witches ran towards the house.
