Massachusetts is fortunate to have two Shrine Temples and two Shrine Hospitals. Aleppo Temple is located in the Boston area and is the larger of the two Massachusetts Temples. Melha Temple is located in Springfield, Massachusetts and draws its membership from residents of the western portion of the State. A Past Potentate of Melha Temple, Ill. Sir. Ralph W. Semb, (pictured below) has been elected Imperial Potentate for the 1999/2000 term of office. Ill. Semb has chosen to hold next year's Imperial Session in Boston, Massachusetts. Boston, often referred to as the Athens of the New World, is a beautiful City which offers much to any visitor. During the summer, it is even that much more beautiful and opportunities abound to satisfy any and every taste from historical sight seeing in Boston, Lexington, Concord, Plymouth and elsewheres to the glories of Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, The Berkshires and many other sites, as well as the institutional sites such as Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The Boston Science Museum or Aquarium, and so on - it just doesn't end and it is all good.
