1) "Pilot" Aired: September 12, 1993 Written by: Deborah Joy LeVine A-Plot: The space program is being hijacked. B-Plot: Lois and Clark first meet. Lois is very superior about everything ("I am top banana :) and resents having to "baby-sit some hack from Nowheresville". Note: This is a two hour episode. 2) "Strange Visitor" Aired: September 26, 1993 Written by: Bryce Zabel A-Plot: Jason Trask of 'Bureau 39' feels that Superman is a threat and must be killed. B-Plot: Lois and Clark work together to find out about Trask. FoLCs also get the see their first kiss, unfortunately it was only a diversion. Note: Story-wise this episode should have aired after "Neverending Battle" 3) "Neverending Battle" Aired: October 3, 1993 Written by: Dan LeVine A-Plot: Lex Luthor tests Superman and his powers. B-Plot: Lois and Clark compete for the same story. Clark, angry that Lois stole his story along with Jimmy's idea for finding Superman, sends Lois through the Metropolis Reclamation Sewer looking for Superman's spaceship. Note: This episode should have come before "Strange Visitor". 4) "I'm Looking Through You" Aired: October 10, 1993 Written by: Deborah Joy LeVine A-Plot: An invisible man is terrorizing Metropolis. B-Plot: Clark feels invisible to Lois (and the rest of Metropolis) who only seems to see Superman. 5) "Requiem for a Superhero" Aired: October 17, 1993 Written by: Robert Killebrew A-Plot: Someone is creating robotic limbs for boxers, giving them extraordinary strength. B-Plot: Lois and Clark are "officially" teamed up on a story, and Clark is very supportive went it seems that Lois's dad might be one of the bad guys. Note: Lois's father, Sam Lane, appears in this episode. But the next time we see him he is played by a different person. 6) "I've Got a Crush on You" Aired: October 24, 1993 Written by: Thania St. John A-Plot: Lois and Clark go undercover to find out about a gang called the "Toasters", who are burning downtown buildings. B-Plot: Lois gets jealous when Clark shows interest in Tony Taylor. 7) "Smart Kids" Aired: October 31, 1993 Written by: Dan LeVine A-Plot: Some children from an orphanage have been given "smart juice" which makes incredibly intelligent. B-Plot: Lois get to baby-sit one of the super-intelligent kids. 8) "The Green, Green, Glow of Home" Aired: November 14, 1993 Written by: Bryce Zabel A-Plot: Lois and Clark go to Smallville (Clark's hometown) to investigate an EPA cleanup, where Clark encounters a glowing green rock that triggers some kind of allergic reaction (kryptonite). B-Plot: Lois gets to meet Clark's parents. She also seems to enjoy herself (after a while) in Smallville with Clark. Note: Sharon Thomas, Dean Cain's mother, makes a cameo appearance as 'Maisie' in this episode. 9) "Man of Steel Bars" Aired: November 21, 1993 Written by: Paris Qualles A-Plot: Metropolis is hit with an incredible heat wave in the middle of winter, and people believe Superman is the cause. B-Plot: When Clark has to leave Metropolis he and Lois share their first "real" kiss and Lois seems very sad to see him go. 10) "Pheromone, My Lovely" Aired: November 28, 1993 Written by: Deborah Joy LeVine A-Plot: A strange perfume sprayed on people makes them lose all their inhibitions. B-Plot: Lois falls for Clark. Clark, unaffected by the perfume, tries not to take advantage of Lois. 11) "Honeymoon in Metropolis" Aired: December 12, 1993 Written by: Dan LeVine A-Plot: Lois and Clark go undercover as honeymooners to find out what's happening with project "Shockwave". B-Plot: This fun episode has Lois and Clark living together for a while and discussing sharing their lives with someone. 12) "All Shook Up" Aired: January 2, 1994 Written by: Jackson Gillis A-Plot: Superman has to stop an asteroid from hitting Earth, but he gets amnesia from his first attempt to stop the asteroid. B-Plot: Lois is very supportive of Clark while he has amnesia. She also says she loves him, but adds "like a brother." Note: This episode is based on the 1950's "Adventures of Superman" episode "Panic in the Sky". 13) "Witness" Aired: January 9, 1994 Written by: Bradley Moore A-Plot: After Lois witnesses a murder she becomes the target of "Mr. Make-up", who can make himself look like anyone. B-Plot: Clark tries to protect the unwilling Lois from Mr. Make-up. Note: This episode should be #11. 14) "Illusions of Grandeur" Aired: January 23, 1994 Written by: Thania St. John A-Plot: A magician is kidnapping rich children for ransom and hypnotizes Superman. B-Plot: Clark tries to get Lois to enjoy surprises. 15) "The Ides of Metropolis" Aired: February 6, 1994 Written by: Deborah Joy LeVine A-Plot: When a computer genus creates a computer virus the only hope for Metropolis is a convicted murderer (who is innocent). B-Plot: Jonathan worries that Martha might be having an affair and comes to Clark. 16) "The Foundling" Aired: February 20, 1994 Written by: Dan LeVine A-Plot: When the globe Clark found in Trask's warehouse ("Strange Visitor") begins to glow Clark finally gets a chance to learn about his Kryptonian heritage. Unfortunately, it is stolen before he can learn much. B-Plot: Lois feels very sorry for Clark that his apartment was robbed, and then very angry when she finds out Clark was keeping the globe from her. 17) "The Rival" Aired: February 27, 1994 Written by: Tony Blark and Paul Jackson A-Plot: Another newspaper has strangely been scooping the Planet in all the major stories lately. B-Plot: Lois gets jealous when Clark shows interest in her ex-best friend. 18) "Vatman" Aired: March 13, 1994 Written by: H.B. Cobb A-Plot: Lex Luthor makes a clone of Superman, and teaches "Vatman" to do what Luthor wants. B-Plot: Lois and Clark work together. 19) "Fly Hard" Aired: March 27, 1994 Written by: Thania St. John A-Plot: The Planet crew (minus Cat) and Luthor are held hostage and there seems to be no way for Clark to help without letting everyone know he is Superman. B-Plot: Lois gets mad at Clark when he seems unwilling to do anything to help them get free. Note: This is the last episode with Cat Grant in it. Jack might have also figured out the Clark is Superman. 20) "Barbarians At the Planet" Aired: May 1, 1994 Written by: Dan LeVine and Deborah Joy LeVine A-Plot: The Planet has gone almost bankrupt, so Luthor buys it to get closer to Lois. He soon blows it up, blaming the bomb on Jack and asks Lois to marry him. She accepts. B-Plot: Clark confesses his love to Lois and she says that she loves him, but as a friend. 21) "Fall of the House of Luthor" Aired: May 8, 1994 Written by: Dan LeVine and Deborah Joy LeVine A-Plot: In the conclusion to "Barbarians ...", Clark, Perry, Jimmy, and Jack attempt to uncover what really happened at the Planet, while the wedding moves along. Luthor also finds some kryptonite and tries to kill Superman. B-Plot: Lois is unable to marry Luthor because she realizes how much she likes Clark, but before she can tell him that Clark says that he was lying to Lois about being in love with her.Second Season

B-Plot: Lois is worried that her old best friend might be behind everything. 7) "That Old Gang of Mine" Episode #28 Aired: November 13, 1994 Written by: Gene Miller and Karen Kavner A-Plot: A scientist clones some dead gangster who turn against him and try to control Metropolis. B-Plot: When Clark is shot and "killed", the Planet staff, especially Lois mourn their loose. Lois also realizes she wants Clark and her to be more then friends and tries to tell him that but he falls asleep! 8) "Bolt From the Blue" Episode #29 Aired: November 20, 1994 Written by: Kathy McCormick A-Plot: When lightning strikes Superman some of his powers are transferred to a man he was trying to save. B-Plot: Lois is mad at Superman because he lied about where Waldecker got his superpowers. 9) "Season's Greedings" Episode #30 Aired: December 4, 1994 Written by: Dean Cain A-Plot: A toymaker invents a pheromone that makes adults act like greedy children. B-Plot: Clark ends up being the only one to go to Lois's Christmas party, she seems very happy to see him, and they share a great moment at the end of the episode holding hands and watching some carolers. Note: Dean's mother, Sharon Thomas, makes her second cameo role on L&C as the lady fighting with Lois for the "Atomic Space Rat". 10) "Metallo" Episode #31 Aired: January 1, 1995 Written by: James Crocker A-Plot: Lucy's (Lois's sister) new boyfriend has been turned into a cyborg powered by kryptonite. B-Plot: Lois recognizes that Clark and Superman are a lot alike. 11) "Chi of Steel" Episode #32 Aired: January 8, 1995 Written by: Hilary Bader A-Plot: The trail of a thief leads to a strange ninja with mystical bracelets that would allow "him" to kill Superman. B-Plot: Lois gets treated like family with the Kents. 12) "The Eyes Have It" Episode #33 Aired: January 22, 1995 Written by: Kathy McCormick and Grant Rosenberg A-Plot: A scientist has made Superman blind by shinning a strange beam of light into his eyes. B-Plot: Even though the now blind Superman is staying at her apartment, Lois wonders about where Clark is, and fears that he might have went to the mountains with Mayson Drake. 13) "The Phoenix" Episode #34 Aired: February 12, 1995 Written by: Tony Blake and Paul Jackson A-Plot: Lex Luthor comes back to life, although he has lost all his money he hasn't lost his love for Lois. B-Plot: Clark asks Lois out on a date and after a while she agrees to go with him, but duty calls and they instead have to go on a stakeout. There they have an "almost first date" with some very WHAMy moments. 14) "Top Copy" Episode #35 Aired: February 19, 1995 Written by: John McNamara A-Plot: Diana Stride, reporter for the television show "Top Copy", has figured out that Clark is Superman and tricks him into ingesting some kryptonite. B-Plot: Lois and Clark discuss a new date and Lois fumes about Clark's all too frequent disappearances. 15) "Return of the Prankster" Episode #36 Aired: February 26, 1995 Written by: Grant Rosenberg A-Plot: The Prankster has escaped from jail and has created a camera that "freezes" people. B-Plot: Clark worries about Lois now that the Prankster is back. He also gives her some advice on an interview, which she takes. 16) "Lucky Leon" Episode #37 Aired: March 12, 1995 Written by: Chris Ruppenthal A-Plot: Jimmy delivers a "Desk Friend" to someone, not knowing that the "Desk Friend" was actually a device to kill the person! Lois and Clark try to clear his name. B-Plot: Lois and Clark go on their first real first date (yeah!). They both have a wonderful time, but Lois decides that she never wants to see Clark again because everything was so perfect. But at the end of the episode Lois rushes toward a likely nuclear explosion to make sure Clark is all right and at the very end they share their first *big* kiss (which is interrupted by Mayson's car blowing up *sigh*). 17) "Resurrection" Episode #38 Aired: March 19, 1995 Written by: Gene Miller and Karen Kavner A-Plot: A scientist is making a pill that makes people seem like they're dead, and uses it to try to spread a deadly virus over Metropolis. B-Plot: Clark fells that he could have done something to save Mayson and pushes Lois away. Lois shows interest in Dan Scardino, a government agent trying to find some stuff out about the "Resurrection" pill. 18) "Tempus Fugitive" Episode #39 Aired: March 26, 1995 Written by: Jack Weinstein and Lee Hutson A-Plot: H. G. Wells makes a time machine uses it to go to the future, where he brings back "Tempus" who wants to kill Superman. B-Plot: When Lois and Clark go back in time to stop Tempus, Tempus tells Lois that Clark is Superman. Lois eventually comes to terms with this, but forgets it after H. G. Wells puts them back before they met him, so the whole thing never happened. 19) "Target: Jimmy Olsen" Episode #40 Aired: April 2, 1995 Written by: Tony Blake and Paul Jackson A-Plot: Some lady has created a drug that makes people do whatever she wants and tests it on Jimmy. B-Plot: Lois continues to get annoyed at Clark's disappearances and keeps dating Dan Scardino. 20) "Individual Responsibility" Episode #41 Aired: April 16, 1995 Written by: Chris Ruppenthal A-Plot: Gene Newtrich finds some red kryptonite that makes Superman apathetic. B-Plot: Lois gets annoyed at Clark's "couldn't care" attitude, but after he admits that Lois's going out with Scardino does bug him they go out for dinner. 21) "Whine, Whine, Whine" Episode #42 Aired: May 14, 1995 Written by: Kathy McCormick and John McNamara A-Plot: Superman is sued for injuring someone whose life he saved. B-Plot: Clark's continued disappearances have started to *REALLY* annoy Lois, but after a few sessions with Dr. Friskin Lois decides that she wants to be with Clark, not Dan or Superman. 22) "And the Answer Is..." Episode #43 Aired: May 21, 1995 Written by: Tony Blake and Paul Jackson A-Plot: Someone figures out Clark is Superman and uses that information to make Clark do what he wants. B-Plot: After Lois sacrifices her life for Clark's parents, Clark proposes to Lois. The season ends with Clark asking if Lois will marry him and Lois saying "Clark....".Third Season

B-Plot: Lois and Clark begin making plans for their wedding. 13) "The Dad Who Came in From the Cold" Episode #56 Aired: January 14, 1996 Written by: David Simkins A-Plot: Jimmy's dad turns out to be a spy, and appears to be on the wrong side! B-Plot: Lois and Clark briefly discuss having children and whether Clark would make a good father. 14) "Tempus, Anyone?" Episode #57 Aired: January 21, 1996 Written by: John McNamara A-Plot: Tempus is back! This time he creates a time machine that lets him travel to an alternate dimension where the Lois Lane of that world is dead, and the Clark Kent isn't Superman. B-Plot: Lois has to deal with the fact that the alternate Clark is engaged to Lana Lang, an old friend from Smallville. 15) "I Now Pronounce You..." Episode #58 Aired: February 11, 1996 Written by: Chris Ruppenthal A-Plot: An evil scientist has created a clone of the President of the United States! B-Plot: This is the (first) wedding episode! Lois is nervous and is anticipating disaster. 16) "Double Jeopardy" Episode #59 Aired: February 18, 1996 Written by: Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Bucknet A-Plot: The "Lois" that Clark married is actually a clone ("Clois"). The real Lois is being held captive by none other than Lex Luthor! B-Plot: It take Clark to while to find out that "Clois" isn't Lois. He is (understandably) upset. Later in this episode Lois, who has hit her head and is acting like a character out of a novel she's writing (Wanda Detroit). Luthor, who has convinced "Wanda" that he's "Kent" (the man she loves), tells her to tell Clark that she doesn't love him any more. Clark thinks she means it. 17) "Seconds" Episode #60 Aired: February 25, 1996 Written by: John McNamara A-Plot: Clois wants to help Clark find Lois, but ends up telling Luthor that Clark is Superman in the attempt to save her life. Luthor also finds a weapon that could kill Superman. B-Plot: Clark is depressed but continues to search for Lois. "Wanda" is beginning to dream about Clark, and seems to be slowly remembering her real life. 18) "Forget Me Not" Episode #61 Aired: March 10, 1996 Written by: Grant Rosenberg A-Plot: Lois now has regular amnesia and has check in a hospital to get better. But neither of her doctors seem to have her best interests in mind. The first, Dr. Maxwell Deter, prohibits Clark from telling Lois they are in love. The other is turning patients into programmed killers. B-Plot: Clark doesn't seem to like Dr. Deter very much. Clark also firmly denies any possibility that Lois might not regain her memory. 19) "Oedipus Wrecks" Episode #62 Aired: March 24, 1996 Written by: David Simkins A-Plot: Bad Brain Johnson's brother has created a weapon that basically turns people into zombies in the attempt to impress his mother. B-Plot: Lois's memory is coming back, but she still doesn't remember that she loves Clark, she thinks she's in love with Dr. Deter! 20) "It's a Small World After All" Episode #63 Aired: April 28, 1996 Written by: Teri Hatcher and Pat Hazel A-Plot: A former classmate of Lois's takes revenge on Lois and some other classmates by shrinking their lovers. B-Plot: Lois gets mad when Clark pushes her away, and won't tell her what is happening to him (he's shrinking....). 21) "Through a Glass, Darkly" Episode #64 Aired: May 5, 1996 Written by: Chris Ruppenthal A-Plot: Two strange people, Zara and Ching, come to Metropolis to test Superman. B-Plot: Lois and Clark discuss their marriage and whether their going to live in a house. 22) "Big Girls Don't Fly" Episode #65 Aired: May 12, 1996 Written by: Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner A-Plot: It turns out that Zara and Ching are from New Krypton, and that Clark is married to Zara. They want Clark to come back with them to rule and to fight Lord Knor. Meanwhile, though, an assassin sent by Knor attacks Clark.
