Oh man, it's been long, I gotta say. August? Holy crap, that's long. I wanted to do one at least every month. But since someone graciously asked if I would give an "updated" version of my opinions on Jacob and Coltin, I thought...why the heck not? And maybe add a couple of new things along the way too? Sure. I've got time to burn.

But I'm probably going to do a Jacob/Coltin one a little later. Right now...it's just character evaluations. If you're not interested...see you later when the J/C thing is put up. If not...read on, baby!

General Hospital...love it or hate it? I totally haven't decided.
First of all...I thought maybe I would let yall know that I've actually caught General Hospital in the past month (or February, actually), and, well, it's not half as bad as the last time I left it. No doubt. I thought GH was hella ugly for a second (hella ugly=booty=yucky=icky=etc...), but eh, I guess it's okay now. It's like, I swear, most of my answers have been answered: Jason's back (though I wish maybe Steve Burton's Semper Fi thingie got picked up...I hate when soap stars have to come back to the soaps...I feel like, that's the only thing they "think" they can do. It sucks. I hope it doesn't happen to JJ, though I would LOVE it if he came back...for a sec or something), Sonny and Carly are together, Hannah isn't with Taggert (still BARFING from the last time), and Nikolas isn't hung up on Lizzie and actually has a kick ass girlfriend in Gia.

Ahh, and look...character evaluations...gotta love these (I hope I have energy to do...everyone):

Lizzie: Why is she acting all high and mighty all the time around Gia? (like the last time I watched...) I wish she wouldn't have so much attitude with her. I swear...I used to love Lizzie to death, but this new "face of deception" shit is irking me to no end. Ooh, and DON'T get me started on Laura. Actually....

Laura: Look, I know she's Lucky's mother and stuff, but PLEASE, don't make Lizzie get *too* comfortable. I understand that Laura's a good mom, and she's rebuilding her relationships with both of her sons very slowly and stuff, and all that good soap opera stuff. So she figures if she gives Lucky what he wants, everything's all gravy. NO! And WHAT does she have against Gia? I totally agree with Carly on this...Gia is a better model, I say. Not that Lizzie isn't pretty or anything, and it's not like Becky H. didn't model and stuff...but Lizzie's getting on my last nerve, so I think Gia would be best for the job. And Carly's right...why is Laura making all the decisions? I wish Carly would regulate on her ass, like, NOW.

Gia: Okay, I didn't like her at first, I thought this was a bad attempt for GH to introduce an "urban" character or some shit like that (please...I've seen it happen and go down the drain *cough*Juan*cough*). But, I think that's what GH intended. Gia is great, she is GOOD. And the Nikolas pairing? Excellent, couldn't say anything else. And all I gotta say is that SHE HAS TO BE THE FACE OF DECEPTION. I'm not a lesbian, but she is HOT. Seriously.

Nikolas: Look back at my Gia evaluation, and then I guess, replace "Gia" with "Nik." LOL okay that wouldn't sound right. But anyway...I think Nik has come a long way from chasing after Lizzie and whining and stuff. Plus, he doesn't have that much nipple action goin on anymore! :)

Lucky: I hated the shag, but now I love the new cut. Also...I hate the fact that he's becoming really "controlling" (ex: "Were you with Jason?" waa waa waa). I hate that he's whining. But, I kinda like it in some sick way. Lizzie needs to realize that she can't be with Jason and Lucky. She has to choose. Seriously. Anyway, I'm sure she's drawn to Jason because he looks like her bro, Steven Lars (remember when Sarah was still around? She saw Jase when she was w/ Em and she was like, "He looks like my bro, Steven Lars"). Anyhoo...if she did choose Jason, I think she'd have to go back to Plan A in the beginning, when she was a bitch. Then...maybe the pairing would have some potential.

Jason: Okay, so he's still hot after all these years. I never really liked Jason Quartermaine. Remember waaay back when, when he grew his hair out? One word: fugly. Good thing AJ drove him into that tree (that sounds bad, but it was for the best, I say. Yay, Jason Morgan!) Anyway...I still wish that Carly and him would hook up. I still have my memories of him brushing the hair out of her face, and telling her sweet things. And then...him walking in on Sonny and Carly after their "passion" stuff. That was horrible. I was sure that Jason and Carly would finally be with each other, without Robin-shmobin in the freakin way. But no...GH had to go and mess that up. Anyway...Jason and Lizzie, Jiz, Jasiz, Jazie, Lizon, whatever the hell everyone calls them...no fucking way. Never. The day they get together is the day I sit and watch a Barbara Streisand concert on DVD. N-E-V-E-R...

Emily: Okay, so I hated her for a second. But hello, this new thingie relationship with Zander? This is what I watch GH for, okay? LOL. Used to be L&L2...now it's them. I loved the fact that her parents shipped her off to boarding school. I swear...her uniform reminded me of mine in high school (a YEAR ago, I am not THAT old)...cept we ROLLED our skirts up, and we didn't have to wear dorky knee socks. LOL. But yeah, I love that they're together. Even though I didn't watch GH back in the 70s, it really reminds me of Scotty and Laura back in the day. And I know what happened back then, and that's what I draw from it.

Zander: Hello, sha-WING, he is fine. He reminds me of a hardass loner. I mean, come on, everyone's mean to him in Port Charles. Least I think so. The only people who believe in him are Sonny, Alexis, and Emily. And that's tough, I say. I think his character is totally cool, too. Outlaw and sweetheart mixed into one! Sounds like a fancy cocktail drink. I think he's cool, though. His character has a lot of potential, and I can't wait to see what happens. Really.

Sonny: One of my all time favorites. I can never hate him. But I was wondering WTF was up with that whole, "I don't wanna marry you" crap. Didn't like that. And does Sonny have to do that to EVERY woman that he's with? I know he's caring and all that good stuff, but dang...pick one and GO with it.

Carly: AhAHAHAHAA....she's still up to her dasterdly old tricks. Locking Laura on the roof? Muwahahaaa!!! Pure evil. I love that girl to death. Never a dull moment. What bugs me though, is that she's with Sonny. Like I said...Carly and Jason forever. But hey, if they do bring Brenda back or something, then maybe...there's hope for me. Muwahahaaa...

Luke: Okay, so I haven't really seen him for a while, but I did catch him when he was with Felicia. It was fun, definately had the perks...but I just didn't like...

Felicia: ...Felicia. She still irks me. No doubt. I still hate what she did to Mac, and I still hate what she did to Maxie and Georgie (and another thing...why do I keep thinking of Maxie pads and Georgia? Hmm...go fig). Everytime her and Laura confront each other, I want Laura to just, lay her ass OUT. For real. Just beat her the hell up. I'm not a violent person, but still, I would get a kick out of that. Pull some hair, kick some tummies...basic cat fight stuff. You know you love it.

Hannah/AJ/Taggert: Okay, so I got lazy and combined all three. First off, Hannah, still irks me, but I love the idea of her and AJ while a lonely ass Taggert goes boo hoo freakin hoooty hoo. I get a kick out of seeing people suffer. Muwahahahaaa....

...Hmm...you know what, I seem to be having technical difficulties inside this little head of mine. So, I basically have nothing else to add LOL. All in all, I have to say that GH has slightly improved from the last time that I ever stopped watching. I never thought I would ever stop watching the show, but, as time progresses, whatever I say in the beginning usually ends up like...well, not taken forward, or whatever you wanna call it. I don't really...follow through. Yeah, that's it.

So that's it. For now anyway. I might do something else later, I had a great idea while trying to get to sleep yesterday.
