WARNING: SPOILERs
In the ending of ID4 we see that the president (Bill Pullman) runs out
of missile to shoot down the alien craft. Then Randy Quaid arrives in his
F18 and locks on the alien craft and fires, however his missile jams. Just
before the alien fires onto Area 57 he flies to the core of the alien craft
and exploded inside the craft bring to alien with him. The alternative
ending that is not shown in the movies but is found in that special edition
is that Randy Quiad flies his crop duster with an attachment a missile
and tires to fire the alien craft however his missile fails. Then he flies
to the core of the alien craft and ends the alien invasion. This scene
did look dramatic but was a bit ridiculous and for that reason it was left
out of the movie. There should be other deleted footage's that makes the
viewing of ID4 very interesting taking a look at different perspective
of the movie.
