BEAN - The Ultimate Disaster Movie!

Finally, the long awaited full-lenght movie of the most popular comedy show has arrived and this time Mr Bean (Rowan Atkinson) was again the star and this time with a few more lines than in his usual Escapades!

Perhaps the best part of this film was the new things, mingled with the old of course, that Mr Bean managed to do. Become a scholar on paintings and be sent of to America, become the bore that no-one wants but also become the hero and saviour. For once his stupidity was used wisely and perhaps we have a feel for "Dr Bean's" scholarly intelligence.

Then there comes the scene of the hospital, Dr Bean yet again saves the day and after a few funny things he does to his patients.... He saves some lives! And of course the new sign language he picks up and returns to England with it.

This time round Dr Bean actually managed to master ten sketches or so into a full movie-length film, this time no interval between each. Oh, and the music changed to go a bit more modern. It's even on sale actually... but only buy it if you like the music.

So all in all, perhaps the film was better than we all expected, but at the end of the day perhaps the laughter was not quite maintained the whole way through. Also the short running time helped.
