Wow, how long has it been since I have eeked out a journal? What with the stress of storms and power outages, and familiy crises, I have managed to put on a couple, landing me at 154. I began a new weight routine yesterday that looks like this: day 1: legs, day 2: shoulders and triceps, day 3: chest and biceps, day 4: back, day 5: rest. And 20-40 minutes of cardio every day that I work out.

So Wednesday, 12-5 looked like this:
breakfast: toast with 1 laughing cow lite wedge of cheese, coffee and half and half.
snack: protein smoothie made with 1 cup of orange juice, 2/3 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup yogurt, and protein powder.
lunch: a Luna bar.
snack: 1 cup of lowfat yogurt.
dinner: miso soup with vegetables and noodles.

While I was writing my final paper for English late into the night, I ended up having a glass of wine, a beer, another coffee, and a tortilla, plus various teas throughout the day. I drank at least 2 liters of water today.

Total calories consumed, about 1898- that alchohol really put me over the top!!! protein about 75 grams- the protein powder was a great idea. fat about 27 grams- not too high, really.

I did 30 minutes of cardio at the gym for a total of 304 calories burned, and did the leg group of weights. 1
