People Magazine
"Leader of the Pack" unsigned
In an article about David Blaine (the guy with the magic show
Monday on ABC where Leo is going to be on) Leonardo
DiCaprio comments, "'He has an astounding ability to draw
people in and keep them focused on his every move.'"
Spy Magazine
I don't know the month
Nor the date
or the title of the article
Has a picture of Claire as Juliet in the pool scene.
Leo is filming A Man in the Iron Mask at Le château de
Vaux le Vicomte located in the Paris area, near a city called
Melun.

Their favorite King is dead, they're sans uniforms, and their faces are a bit battle-worn. The
Three Musketeers as featured in The Man in the Iron Mask are clearly not the devil-may-care
dudes on the candy-bar wrapper. But the stars of the new film based on the last book in
Alexandre Dumas's trilogy find the long-in-the-tooth trio with more savoir faire. "They still have
a little swash, a little buckle," says JEREMY IRONS, who plays Aramis. "But they are older
and wiser." GERARD DEPARDIEU is Porthos, JOHN MALKOVICH is Athos, and
GABRIEL BYRNE is D'Artagnan, their friend and captain. The film by first-time director
Randall Wallace (Oscar-winning screenwriter of Braveheart) is being shot in France and also
stars LEONARDO DICAPRIO as the Sun King, Louis XIV.
Leonardo DiCaprio is getting out his sword, literally, to play a dual role as King Louis of
France and a mysterious masked prisoner rescued from the Bastille in "The Man in the Iron
Mask," says Variety. Starring as the reunited Three Musketeers are John Malkovich, Gerard
Depardieu and Jeremy Irons as Athos, Porthos and Aramis (like the cologne), respectively.
Based on the Alexander Dumas novel, the period piece is set to start filming in France by late
April.
You can hear Exit Music [For a Film] by Radiohead (RealAudio) at
http://geocities.datacellar.net/SunsetStrip/Alley/2992/ok.htm I love this song. This song was
written after the band saw 10 minutes of R+J. I'm gonna buy "OK Computer" as soon as it
comes out!

I was watching a movie with my bro, and he asked if I liked Jesse Bradford (Romeo's
Servant), and asked him how he knew, and he pointed out the fact that he had been in that
movie. It was Far From Home: The Adventures Of Yellow Dog. Jesse Bradford plays the
main character, Angus McCormick!
I may have my info wrong, but wasn't Leo supposed to star in "The Thin Red Line?"
Because if he is, then its filming NOW, in Port Douglas, Australia! I found this out last night,
because George Clooney has a role in it and is back in Australia to film it, and the report on
him said that. If this is a Leo movie, I guess they're keeping it quiet because he is hugely
popular down here.....whatever
Other stuff.....I got a georgeous poster of Leo as Romeo which I had no idea even existed.
He's sitting on the edge of the stage, with the sun behind him. Hes looking into the distance,
and there's a border of peeling paint. The actual picture is bordered by red lines, and the cross
from "Romeo + Juliet" is in each corner. Underneath is "Romeo + Juliet" and in this weird
writing "Leonardo DiCaprio" Its printed and distributed by an Australian company, if you're
interested I'll get back to you with their name and whatever details I can find.
A NEW book about Leonardo DiCaprio called The Leonardo DiCaprio Album will be
out in August 1997. The book will be around $16 and I believe it is paperback!
The book (I don't know what to call it) James Cameron's Titanic will be out July 1997.
I went to see the movie Men In Black while I was at the theatre I saw a huge Titanic
cardboard setup in the back and when I got popcorn the bag had Titanic all over it.Yes I did
save the bag!
