Or I could be wrong.

After all, most of this entire page
is based from speculation, (oh, and if you
believed the little opener I started the front
page on, seek help :)
not scientific fact,
(Scientific fact for the Gargoyles Universe
being "Greg Weisman's Own Holy Words.")

so I feel obliged to put other people's own
views on this homepage as well. Not only is
this fair, I find it more interesting for the
reader. In other words, pick which one you like.

Take Todd Jenson's veiw of Thailog's relationship
with Demona for example:

QUOTE: DEMONA AND THAILOG - Truth to tell, as I thought over this, it occurred to
me that this alliance was doomed almost from the start. After all, consider their respective goals.
Demona wants to destroy all the humans. If she succeeded, that would cause one significant
problem for Thailog: all his money, which he so enjoys, will now be useless, since there
are no humans around now and gargoyles have no need for money in their society. So, it
would not be in Thailog's best interests to carry out Demona's genocide scheme. He'd want
some humans left around, that he could use his cash to dominate; it would certainly be a lot
simpler than trying to get gargoyles to make use of money.
Ultimate incompatibility.
UNQUOTE

Ouch.
No wonder he wanted to get rid of her.
Imagine working long and hard to earn social and
economic standing, and then have that same society
(Which you based all your assumtions of worth on)
completely destroyed.

-And, since it's reasonable to assume Thailog
understood this, then begs the question: Why
have anything to do with her at all? Remember,
they hadn't built Nightstone (the company)
until after their union, and Thailog could have
easily done this himself. There is the
little "Physical" side to the equation,
But think: Demona is inmortal, vengeful, cunning,
and has a whole century of experince behind her.
Thailog would have no safe way of "getting rid"
of her, when the need eventually arises,
(I.E when the entire human race was
under some kind of "catayclismic bomb"
or world disaster, with Demona's finger on
the button)
-and I doubt she'd
listen to reason.

So what -other then for cheap amusement-
could Thailog hope to get out of their union?
Hmmm...suggestions? Flames?
