Actress Kate Winslet is pregnant
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Kate Winslet is pregnant with her first child. "I'm confirming that she's pregnant, as to the details, I don't really think that's anyone's business," her spokeswoman, Catherine Olim, said Friday. The 24-year-old star of "Titanic" wed 26-year-old British director Jim Threapleton in her home town of Reading, Berks, in November 1998. The couple met when Winslet was filming "Hideous Kinky" in Morocco in 1997.

Hideous Kinky Is set to be released in the U.S. on April 16th 1999.
