My rants are my creative outlet. They tend to vary in length and quality. Some are heartfelt, some are philosophical, some are absurd, and some are just plain stupid. Over the past few years, my writing style as well as my views and beliefs have changed. As such, there are some rants which I feel could have been done better. I'm much happier with my later rants, because they most reflect my current views and writing ability. The rants are listed from most recent to least recent.
Journalism Pieces
The following are articles I've written for my various journalism classes. I've always considered these pieces to be some of my favourites. Since these articles were written during a span of four years, some of them make more sense when understood as coming from a particular point in time. For simplicity sake, I've included the date each article was written. To view the two articles I've had published in The Concordian, please go here and here.

These are usually a lot of fun for me to write. The American Family Association is a Christian lobby group that claims to promote "Traditional Family Values". As one might expect from a religious lobby group, their statements and articles often boarder on the insane. I often find it just too tempting not to point out their obvious lapses in logic and reasoning. Like my rants, these reviews tend to vary to length and quality. Originally, my reviews were more serious in nature as I tried to demonstrate the hypocritical and destructive nature of their claims. As time went on however, I found it was much more fun to show just how completely absurd and nonsensical many of their claims really are. The reviews are listed from most recent to least recent. A while back, the AFA re-did their website, so some of the links to the older articles won't work.
