DAWN: It's here. Just like he said.
SPIKE: So at least we know the old coot isn't completely daft. Look, you better let me snatch this egg thing on my own.
DAWN: No way! I'm going.
SPIKE: No, you are *not*. I've got no idea what's down there.
DAWN: You need me Spike. Somebody's gotta get the egg while you distract the Gora. Now come on.
SPIKE: (sigh) Well what do you know. Bitty Buffy.
Dawn Summers
Apperances: Buffy Seasons 5-7 Regular
Dawn Summers, younger sister to Buffy, Dawn mysteriously showed up at the start of season five. Not much was known but we soon found out that some monks created Dawn that she is the key. To what, we didn't know. All we knew was that Glory wanted it, Buffy had it and needed to protect it. Eventualy the gang had to know and Buffy told the rest of the scoobies. Dawn eventualy finding out after breaking into the Magic Box with Spike and reading it in Giles's journal. Dawn was a wreck to find out she wasn't real eventualy Dawn came back to some of her senses. Eventualy Ben and Glory found out and Glory kidnaped Dawn. We found out that Dawn was the key to open dimensions to hell and basicly the end of existance. Buffy was about to come to Dawn's rescue but the ceremony to open the dimension to hell had started and eventualy Buffy sacraficed herself to stop it. But what we all really wondered at the end of the season was....what did Dawn do with those ear rings? Just kidding. Season Six comes out and is doing well without Buffy and her mother and Willow, Tara, and a fixed up Buffy Bot watching over her. Dawn has become a little more rebelious this year and sneaking out on halloween and almost bitten by a vampire, stealing more stuff and so on. Dawn was almost taken as a queen to the demon who was summoned By Xander for a little musical mayhem, and because of Willow's constant use of magic was hurt in a car accident. Dawn not really a esstinial member to the scoobies yet she might be in the future. Dawn has been on the side for much of this season, but problems arose when she started to steal things and became quite the theif. Stealing a amulet from the magic box and the demon Sweet thought that it was her who summoned him when it was really Xander. She also stole things for Buffy's birthday like a nice expensive leather coat. Dawn was found out by Anya who was looking for something to get them out of the house on Buffy's birthday. Dawn has tried to help out then and again but has been on the side. In the finale she was trying to help find Brak to set things straight, but found he was dead. Willow almost went to kill Dawn but Buffy stopped her. Dawn was helping Buffy with the root demons and was a big help and now maybe Buffy will let Dawn help out more and next season we could see a more grown up, mature and helping out Dawn. Dawn began to play a bigger role this season helping out with research and such, as she took the big step into High school. One night Dawn recieves a visit from Joyce, her mother. Saying in the end Buffy would be against her, but is presumed to just be the first disguising herself as Joyce to cause friction. At one point it was thought that Dawn herself was a potential Slayer but really it wasn't. Dawn continues to try and help as much as she can with the stuggling battle with the First. Dawn was planning to stick though and help out to the end. At one point was included with everyone in telling Buffy she wasn't doing a good job leaving, and told her to leave the house, when Buffy came back eventualy after recieving the Slayer Sycthe, she told Xander to leave Sunnydale with Dawn, despite Xander's not wanting to leave and be there to the end, he used some Chloroform on Dawn but ended up backfiring as Dawn knocked out Xander and drove back home. Dawn did fight in the final battle against the First, and fought with Xander and with the training from her sister Dawn made it out alive and was one of the survivors to make it out of Sunnydale.
Andrew has said during his trip to L.A. to bring back an insane slayer that Buffy and Dawn are in Rome, where Dawn is still going to school.
