XANDER: Okay, we were supposed to hook up with Riley this morning, to take on a nest o'vamps holed up in a tomb? So we get there, and guess what? Tell him, Will.
WILLOW: Tomb go boom.
XANDER: Yep. Captain America blowed it up real good. All by his lone wolf lonesome.

Riley Finn, we first meet him in the Sunnydale U Libray picking out some books. We find that he's a TA to Prof.Walsh. Not much is known about him at first. We soon find Riley is a part of the inititive with Forest and Graham. After Buffy's Short and not so sweet fling with Parker Riley notices Buffy a tad more and wants to be with her. He notices she's not the same as every other girl. (Well DUH!) Soon when Buffy and Riley begin to get close when the Gentlemen had everyone Silenced the two find out about each other's hidden lives while batteling the Gentlemen. Riley and Buffy had a breif argument about the whole choice to do what they do.Buffy said she was the choosen one. She has no choice really. Riley gave excuses to why he had to and such. The two begin to date. Once Faith came out of her Coma Buffy had no choice to tell Riley about her past. Except for the Angel parts. At one point Prof.Walsh tried to kill Buffy because she was getting to close to the 314 project which was Adam. Riley did go through some rough times when he didn't take this pills and started acting werid. After Riley tried to help a New and Improved Oz escape from the hands of the Inititive. He was arrested Buffy and the scooby gang tried to rescuse Riley when Riley was already forming a plan himself to get out. Riley fled the Inititive and never came back. He stayed at the blown up Sunnydale High school thinking they would never look there for him. After the Faith thing Buffy was kind of Forced to tell him almost everything about Angel. Buffy went to LA to see Angel and sees him hiding faith. The two have a argument and Angel yells at Buffy telling her to get out of his town. Xander spilled out certin parts he wasn't supose to about Angel to Riley. Oh a littel thing with a true moment of Happiness and such he turns to Angelus. Riley wasn't happy to hear this. When Buffy comes back....so did Angel well Angel tried to come back to Appologize the Inititive attacks Angel. Riley and Angel meet for the first time. They have a huge battel. Finnaly the two meet back up at Buffy's dorm. Angel appologizes for what he did in LA and says in his own way he doesn't like him. (I guess the way he put is that he does or somethin I dunno)Riley help take down the inititive and Adam for good. Buffy and Riley are a couple. Well atleast for a part of season 5 they were happy. When Buffy started distancing herself from Riley he didn't like it and was paying vamps to suck on his arms some. The two had a horrible breakup and now Riley is gone with the Initative in South America. Riley returned to SunnyD when tracking a demon and brought his wife along with him. When she was talking to Buffy she told her that he had the hardest time getting over her and eventualy with the two of them they clicked and got married. Riley found out about the Buffy/Spike sexcapades and brought Buffy back down to earth and made her realize what she is doing. Riley and his wife left again to go track demons elsewhere. 1
