It's Clown/Balloon Jam 99'
UPDATE

Hello to the unjamed,
We had a wonderful time. There were twelve clowns counting myself and Peaches. Denise (Cassie) Hall was the first to arrive. She had offered to come by early and help in anyway she could. She could lots. Thanks! She is a very talanted lady. She did some of the cutiest line things I had seen. I loved the little dog with the bone. We twisted for an hours and talked non stop.Tom Lemoine (Topper) & Phil Bloom (Flippo showed up next. They eagerly moved around the table gathering any info they could and there was lots to see and learn by then. There main enterest seened to be in the Masters Pump. Once I showed them how easy it is I think they will make there on this week. If you do hit a snag boy give me a call. Elaine (Berry Mary) Pettit kept things lively with her wit and charm as well as a very large Butter Fly made to fit Joe's daughter. We took a break for some of Elmo's outstanding BBQ and Potatoe salad and a dip in the pool then finished off with strawberry short cake piled high.yumm yumm!
Twisting competition for the evening started about 7:00 Pm Contestants were the judges and they judged each other in two way giving points from 1 to 10 for Presentation and Creation. We had lots of fun it boiled down to two circus Clowns. A Tie. Both men were in there 30's and had many years with the Circus where they claim they did little or no Twisting (side note). Doug (Poindexter) Kranz won best show and did some outstanding twisting. He did a very different large motorcycle, a bear sitting in a heart with a bunch of balloons flying above. the show stopper was his bat Air Plane with a smoke trail. Joe (Joe "Duh" Clown) Vecciarelli a Ringling clown, not be out done started with a large Duck that looked a lot like Donald you know who to me, along with the history of Disney all the Nephews and Nieces "Outstanding" he followed up with Pelican Pet, then went into a William Pen act where he shot the apple of the head of Pam (Itchee) Wolin. By hitting the mark he also won the night. First prize was the Masters Pump set on a pair of wooden Clown shoes as it's base. The Masters Pump was designed manufactured and given by David (Elmo Twist) Vick Elmotwist's Home Page Photos will be posted as soon as I can get them.
