Tournament Benefits PetsBobby Riggs, Ediie Dibbs, and Barry and Andy Gibb will play in the Jockey Club Pro-celebrity Tennis Classic Saturday and Sunday for the benefit of Pet Rescue, Inc.
Pros will include Roy Emerson, Vitas Gerulaitis, Gardnar Mulloy, Rick Fagel, Frank Tutzin, Mike Belkin, Juan Gisbert, and Calin Hirgu. Among the clelebrities will be Lloyd Bridges, Oleg Casssini, Bernie Koppell, Lyle Waggoner, and Wayne Rogers. Bert Parks will emcee.
Matches begin at 2p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Friday night at 8 there will be a dinner and auction with prizes including a trip for tow to Wimbledon. General admission for the matches in $10 per day. For information, call 893-3344.
