A Little Bit About Ronin Warriors

Ronin Warriors is the English dub of a Japanese TV series called Yoroiden Samurai Troopers. Yoroiden Samurai Troopers ran in Japan for approximately a year, May 1988 to May 1989, and was 39 episodes long. After the series there were Three OAVs created called Gaiden, Kikoutei Densetsu, and Message. (These have not been dubbed into English((yet....)) like the series has.)

Graz and Ocean Studios bought the show over to the good ole' USA and dubbed it into English in 1994. The show's title was changed from Yoroiden Samurai Trooper to Ronin Warriors. Ronin Warrior aired in the summer of 1995 and was a success in the ratings, but was it was taken off television through its second run. The Sci-Fi channel(smart people) picked it up shortly after that and aired it for a one and a half runs at 8 am (EST), during the weekdays. It was a dismal flop in the ratings for Sci-Fi so it was not picked up again.(stupid people...hehehe)

Three years later, after an intense letter writing, the persistant nagging of millions of fans..., and a petition campaign by online Ronin Warrior fans(they most have gotten annoyed), Cartoon Network bought the rights to air Ronin Warriors. Cartoon Network began airing Ronin Warriors(YEAH!!)  during the latter part of its Toonami block on September 27, 1999. The show can be seen every weekday on Cartoon Network at 5:30 pm (EST), right after Dragon Ball Z. (Another Great Anime!!)
