Of Souls Of Spring

It seemed as though the Stars betrayed him. The Fire burnt him. The light left. The rock failed to support him. Even the water seemed to make him feel bad. His heart ached. He was lonely. Cye Mouri stood and walked to the river's edge and ran his Yori threw the crystaline waters. In a flash of light a blade fell into the dirt in front of him. Throwing him back onto the moist soil. Suddenly two Kitana's came from the sky and landed where he was. He rolled over and used his Yori to deflect a staff, and a solitary arrow.
"Nice try." Cye's Voice called "You all can come out now." Cye stood and moved his chestnut hair out away from his eyes. Seiji appeared from behind a bush.
"How can you do that?" Seiji asked
"What? Know you all are there?" Cye shook his head "You all are noisey." Cye pointed to Kento "Specially you my friend."
"I was quiet." Ryo said.
"Yeah until you decided to heave the swords at me instead of throwing them," Cye murmered.
"Hey guys," Touma smiled, "let's get on back. I'm starving and tha' girls are probably all ready back thea', and knowing Cye's girlfriend she has dinner made for a king."
"I hope so..." Kento smiled.
"Seiji when is Amy coming home?" Ryo asked, changing the subject.
"Tonight I hope I miss her so much." Seiji pulled his sword from the dirt. "I hope she's allright." Seiji sighed.
"Such a long and lonely trip for her."
"She'll come home tonight." Ryo smiled "I can feel it."
"I hope you are right Wildfire my friend."
"I'm always right." Ryo snapped back
"Yeah and I'm Betty Crocker." Cye blurted out with a giggle.
"No Cye, that's Kimberly...she's Betty Crocker.....she can cook." Kento smiled.
"Going after Cye's girlf huh?" Touma asked
"No" Kento shoved Touma "I'm just hungry, besides I love Sara."
"A. You're always hungry." Seiji smiled "B. We know you love Sara, and C. We all want you to shut your trap."
"Funny." Kento said
"I thought so." Seiji smiled and started to chuckle, with the others joining him.
"Real funny." Kento took his staff in hand and started to walk home.

Back at Home:
"AMY!" Kimberly yelled "Rachel, Meagan, Jen! She's home!" Kimberly set the dishes she was holding on the kitchen table and ran to the door."
"She's back......and She's early!" Jen slid down the stair case banister.
"Good she owes me money" Meagan smiled as Kimberly opened the door and waved.
Amy's smile lit up and she waved back opening the back hatch of the SUV she drove. She pulled out her suit cases and her duffle bag and shut the hatch. She carried her things inside "Hi." She breathed a sigh of relief after setting her things down. She hugged each of the girls in turn "I missed you guys."
"We know you love us." Rachel smiled
"Yeah I do." Amy took her keys from her poket "I have to get Seiji's gift from the car."
"Gift? What did you get him?" Rachel looked over her to the car. Amy walked out and opened the back door and slid out a long narrow box.
"A sword." Amy smiled "It's ingraved too."
"His name?"
"Yea"
"Oh, the bread!" Kimberly ran into the kitchen and removed the bread from the oven.
"Is it Burnt?" Jen asked from the stairs.
"No! I got it in time." Kimberly looked up and out the window. "Hey the boys are coming back from their training."
"Seiji!" Amy yelped and ran through the house and out the back door "SEIJI!"
Amy ran through the open plain behind the enormus house. Seiji looked up "Amy?" Seiji dropped his sword and ran to her. The two came together and fell to the ground Amy giggled and Seiji laughed. "I missed you." He sat up and hugged her tightly.
"And I missed you as well."
Seiji cradled her in his arms. "I worried about you."
"Oh, Seiji I got you a gift." Amy smiled "It's back at the house."
"Awwwwwww." Came the noise from the four boys behind them and they began to snicker.
"You boys want a show?" Amy asked. Ryo looked at the others and shrugged. Amy took Seiji by the neck and kissed him.
"Woohoo!" Kento yelled "go Seiji." Seiji kissed back.
"Go Seiji." Touma smiled. Cye giggled. Seiji broke the kiss and stood lifting Amy up in his arms.
"Let's just go home...please." Seiji began to walk twards the house, all red, where the girls waiting upon the balcony.
"Kento I hope you're Hungry!"Sara cried "I made Chicken!" Kento gasped
"Cye I love you." Kimberly yelled. Cye blushed litghtly.
"Ryo!" Rachel blew a kiss. Ryo cought the kiss in his hand.
"Hi Touma!" Meagan screamed. Touma waved to his beloved.
"Let's go!" Seiji said Putting Amy down.
"Yea!" Amy said and began to Run.

Later that evening. Cye and Kimbery were washing dishes. Amy walked into the kitchen. "Hey can you two come in here a minute?" Amy asked .
"Yeah, sure," Cye smiled and set the plate he was holding down, dried his hand and walked into the living room of the grand estate.
"Ok, As you all know I went to Hiroshima," Amy smiled, "and while I was there," she picked up a long box. "I got this for Seiji." She set the box in his hands.
"Thank you." Seiji smiled and lifted the lid "You didn't have too."
"But I wanted too." Seiji sifted threw the tissue paper.
"Oh Amy, I love it." Seiji lifted the longsword from the box, ingraved on the blade was Seiji Date of the Halo, Wisdom. Seiji's eye teared. "Thank you." Seiji smiled.
"Don't cry you softy," Cye smiled.
"Look who's talking," Kim countered. Ryo and Rachel giggled at the two.
"Silly kids," Amy smiled down at Seiji who put the sword aside and stood hugging her tight.
"Thank you my angel."
"Oh your very welcome Sweety!" Amy beamed.
