Author's Notes:
A fox-like pokemon comes out "Hello ladies and gentlemen I must ask you not to yell at me as I've never done this before and I have stage fright.My name is Ninetales and this is my fanfic." A pikachu comes out and hands Ninetales some papers.She looks at them and says"Thank you Pikachu,I think I can handle it from here."Pikachu walks off the stage ."Isn't he just adorable?"says Ninetales.Then she says very seriously "Those of you who like to cry, go ahead, but if you laugh I will put a curse on each and every one of you.Well here it goes..."

Prolouge

August 5, 1570
Anubis paced across the floor of the Dynasty, he didn't know what to do.He knew he couldn't tell Akira without breaking her heart but he knew he had to tell her one way or another.He sighed and left the Dynasty, he walked down a path and sat down on a rock.He needed to think.All of a sudden he heard someone behind him he looked up, it was Akira. As she sat down next to him he thought of what he could say to her.Well,he thought silently,I can't just
say "Akira,Tulpa wants me to leave and fight the Ronin Warriors."
She looked up at him,"Is there something you want to tell me, Anubis?"
He sighed,"You always know."He paused.
"Well?"she said,no longer smiling,she knew that when he refused to say something straight out, it was usually something bad, and usually something bad had somthing to do with Tulpa, and she hated Tulpa.
"Akira..."he said,"Akira, Tulpa wants me to leave and fight the Ronin Warriors..."(of course he would end up saying that).
"It's just not fair!You shouldn't have to go!"she started to cry.
"I don't have to go now."he said"In a couple of days but not now."he lifted her face so she looked into his eyes "Please, just don't cry, you'll make me feel guilty."
And as usual "a couple of days" passed by fast and before they knew it he had to leave.
"Please,Anubis don't go."Akira wimpered"Please."
"You don't understand! I don't have a choice!"Anubis sighed,"I'll come back, you'll see."
"Then let me come with you."
"No!" he said "It would be like putting you to death, I won't do it!"
"Then promise me you'll come back."
"I will,I promise."
And he left. Akira knew that despite his promise, he would never return.

The Begining

A young girl in love...
"...I would fight Tulpa myself if it meant I could be with you..."
A warlord of darkness...
"...my heart shares in your sadness..."
Both destined with the cruelest fate imaginable...
"...I can't let you fight for Tulpa if this is what he's going to do to you, Anubis..."
"...I have no choice !"

He had been in love with Akira since the day he first saw her, now it's 400 years later and when they finally meet again he is dying...
