Kayura was brainwashed by Badamon to be one of Talpa's agents. Talpa created a necklace for Kayura to wear so she wouldn't remember her and past and make sure that she would stay loyal to him. Once Ryo broke the necklace Kayura remembered everything and was shocked to realize all the horrible things she had done. Unfortanly Talpa had Badamon posses her, so that Talpa could have do the work of the Dynasty again. Anubis having vowed to the Ancient one to bring her back to the light sacrifice his life to exorcise Badamon for Kayura by giving her his Ogre armor. With badamon gone from Kayura she toook over the Ancients job and helped the Ronin Warriors.
My Opinion:
Finally a strong female character in the series. No offence to Mia or any of her fans, but Mia is kindof a weak.... After hangin out with the Ronin Warriors after awhile you'd figure she would pick something up. Kayura is so cool and the fact that she can kick the Ronin Warriors butts makes her cooler.
