"Yes!!! The weekend!" shouted a round-faced teenage boy. "Kento, you don?t have to yell." said a teenage boy with auburn hair. "Sorry Cye, but we?re going to the BEACH!" Kento raised his voice with every word. "Yes Kento. I know. And do me a favor?" "Yeah?" "Don?t yell cause you?re drawing a crowd." "Huh?" Kento looked around. Cye was right. They were in the middle of a mob of students wearing Han? a high and they were in the center attention. He looked at his best friend and saw his ears turning red. Cye hates being in the middle of attention. "Well then lets go." putting his arm around his shy friend and began to leave school grounds. Mia looked around her study. Whiteblaze was peacefully snoozing on the rug, Yulie was doing his homework, Sage was sitting on the couch daydreaming, Rowen was sitting next to Yulie watching the little boy struggle to get his homework done, and Ryo was outside practicing his soccer kicks. All is quiet. Ahhh. Quiet. Peace and quiet. Even with Yulie here. Oh how wonderful the sound of silence is. Suddenly they heard the front door open with a bang. Sage, Rowen, and Yulie stopped what they were doing and looked up. <sigh> I spoke too soon. "WE'RE HOOOOOOME!" Kento?s voice pierced the silence causing Whiteblaze to jump out of his sleep and made his fur stand on its end. Mia and the others covered their ears and shut their eyes. Kento came into the study room followed by Cye and Ryo. Mia stood, still recovering, and stepped over to Kento. "Please Kento. Don?t shout in the house." "Sure Mia But I?m just happy that were going to the beach. For the whole weekend, too! YAA? mmph mmph!" Ryo muffled Kento just in time because Mia looked about peeved. Mia just shook her head. "Kento, Kento, Kento." She then looked at the other guys. "If there is anymore shouting, wrecking, and trouble in this house, I will cancel our plans for the weekend. Now if all of you just go into the living room and let me study in peace, I?ll throw in a little something special in the weekend." She said as she ushered the teens and boy and even the tiger out of the room. She then closed the door and leaned on it. "Whew!" and walked over to her desk.
"I wonder what?s up with Mia." Kento thought out loud. "I know." said Cye. Kento looked at Cye. "It's the sight of your face!" and laughed. The others laughed with him, all but Kento. "Cye. C'mon be serious! I never seen Mia push us out like that. Well, yeah I seen she did that to US but not to Yulie and Whiteblaze. Hey Sage! You understand girls better then anyone in this room." Kento looked at Sage. "Well, Mia isn't the easiest to understandable girls I've ever met, but I could get a little bit out from that attitude. It?s just an opinion. I think she has guy problems." "WHA?mmph!" Ryo muffled Kento. "What!" Kento hissed as soon as Ryo let go. "I think she has guy problems. I guess we?re part of it to. Living in a house full of guys for her must be like living in a house full of girls for us. I mean she is the only female here. No one to do those? those? what term do they use?" "Oh yeah," Sage clapped his hands "she wont be able to do 'Girl Talk' since none of us are girls. And even if she tried we wouldn?t understand what the hell she?s talking about. Since girls speak a different language then we guys do." "Sage got a point there. Living by myself in a house full of girls would be a total nightmare. Even for you Sage." Ryo looked at Sage. "Well then we better make this weekend better for Mia. So I guess, we have to follow the rules. Agree?" Cye joined in the conversation. "Agreed." they all said. And was what they did.
Mia slammed the trunk of her red jeep shut with a sigh. She turned to see Kento, Ryo, and Sage chaining up Whiteblaze outside of her house. It was beach day. She sighed again and walked towards the house when Yulie came. "Kayura?s here!" shouted Yulie. "What?!" Mia looked at the boy. "Where Yulie?" "Here. And she said she wanted to see only Mia." "Alright." She turned toward the Ronins. "You guys try to keep out of trouble while I talk to Kayrua." Mia walked behind the house and saw Kayura?s projection. "Hi Kayura! Whazzup?" Kayura looked at the ground, and sighed. "Kayura, you ok?" "Yes. I?m fine. I just got bad news." Mia face turned pale. "What is it? Is it the Dynasty?" "Oh no! Nothing like that. It?s just, well, you know we Ancients have to know all, no not all, but, you know, to be the person with the most info on the armors and Dynasty?" Mia nodded. "Well, I have a feeling of a new Evil force and I need to do some research and be out of the Nether Realm. So," Kayura looked up, changing the subject. "I heard you and the Ronins and the boy are going to the beach over the weekend, am I correct?" Mia nodded again. "Well, I also need you to watch the Warlords for me." "WHAT!!!" Mia?s jaw dropped. "I know that it is tiring to take care of so many people. But please you gotta help me." "No way! It?s tiring enough to watch the Ronins but the Warlords too? Give me a break." "I'm sorry, hon, but I have no other choice! Look, how 'bout we make a deal. After I'm done with this project, I'll take the Ronins, the boy and the tiger, and the Warlords to the Nether Realm and I'll watch them." Mia looked up in interest. "For how long will I have that vacation?" "Hmm? how ?bout for as long as I left the Warlords with you? Deal?" "Deal." "I'll send them over right now. Also, I gave you another break. I got them their beach equipment already. How many people can fit into the jeep of yours? Seven?" "No. Ten. We can fit everybody in. Yulie can sit on laps. No prob with the seating." "Good. I have to go now. Have a great time at the beach!" Kayura disappeared. "Yeah right. I'll surely have a great time." She said sarcastically. She looked around. Where are those Warlords?" She heard voices yelling in front of the house. She sighed again and jogged toward the sound. When Mia peeked around the corner she gasp. Then she collapsed, laughing. |
