What he looks for in a girl: "someone who I can connect with mentally, be able to talk to, carry on a conversation with--and allthat kind of good stuff. I've already met the girl of my dreams, though. I just read in a seventeen chat, he broke up with his girlfriend."
Will he ever be in a rock band?: "I may suck at playing instruments, but I'm musically inclined. I play guitar and piano, not very well, but I enjoy it. I wrote a rap song and it's on my answering machine. So I can see myself venturing into that field someday."
On his odd man out costar Trevor Fehrman: "We're friends, definately, but we're kind of like opposites. Trevor's really scholastically inclined. I don't want to say he's a book nerd. I mean he's the funniest guy I've ever met. He's got a really dry sense of humor and he's extremely intelligent."
On Fame: "I'm just a (17) year old kid and I act and I enjoy doing it. I never thought it would attract this much attention. It's an honorable position to be in, but on the other hand, whywould people go crazy over someone like me?
His dream roles: "I would've loved to sink my teeth into some of the roles that Brad Renfro's played. And there are so many other characters I'd like to play. Jack Dawson in Titanic. Just kidding!
His 13-year old sister's reaction to his brother being a star: "A lot of kids want to befriend her. This one girl wanted an autographed picture, and unbeknownst to me, my sister charged her $10! So she's kind of using me to make a little cash on the side, but I don't get a commission!
