"Of the other main characters, only one actually looks and sounds the part of a real New York teenager: Azura Skye, who's just 17, gives Jane the blase veneer masking acute perception that is the stamp of city life. Her lines are are altered with a weary pointedness that also rings true and stands in welcome contrast to the astounding naivete of her pals.
