I promised you once that I would always be here for you. That promise remains unbroken - only altered.

I will always be here, lurking in the shadows of your mind, helping you along. I still care about you even though I mean nothing to you. I will be here.

You will not see me, I remain hidden. You won't feel my presence, I am like a cool breeze across your sun-burnt face. Relaxing.

I am the wind that blows through your hair as you ride off into the sunset again, leaving me behind. I am the sun that shines down on you, lighting your path, I am the moon and the stars in the sky. I am everything.

You can not ignore me. No matter how hard you try. You will open your eyes and I will be there.

I am here, stronger than before, but not as obvious. I will remain just out of reach. I will be the mirage on the road on a hot day. I will be the happiness that comes every time someone touches you. I will be the smile on your face when you are happy, and the tears that fall from your eyes when you are sad. I will be the pain when someone hurts you, and I will be the comfort in every hug.
