HELP GET THE SHA NA NA VARIETY SHOW ON DVD!
You probably saw them performing as Johnny Casino and the Gamblers, the band who played the big high school dance in the movie "Grease." And you may also have fond memories of their fun, silly, wonderful syndicated TV variety show (1977-81). So I just thought I'd share a few of my thoughts and memories of the guys and their music, along with some other goodies - song lyrics, pix, links, etc. Be sure to click the "What's New?" button above for the latest updates to the site, and news about our fellas!
Two important things: First, you won't find a lot of info here about what the former members are up to nowadays, where the group is playing around the country, history of the band, etc., because most of those questions can be answered far better than I can at the main Sha Na Na site (link below).
Secondly, while I love all the guys, I'm a *huge* fan of the groups resident gorgeous teen idol crooner with the killer falsetto, Johnny Contardo , and much of my little fan page will reflect that (see link below for my "Johnny Zone" page). Sorry, but a girl's only human, you know!
Enjoy, and please sign my guestbook if you get a chance. Thanks for stopping by, and Grease for Peace!
