This movie stars Stephen Dorff as crazy film director, Cecil B. Demented. He and his renegade film crew kidnap a movie star bitch, played by Melanie Griffith, to star in his new movie. The film crew are all misfits and runaways -- like if Captain Hook's Lost Boys if they had been horny punks with tattoos. The film makers are hiding out in an empty warehouse and, since the movie has a budget of zero, the warehouse furnishings, the costumes and the props are all found or stolen. They travel in a disguised truck and film in various locations when Cecil B. Demented and, later Honey, have a "vision" of what the next scene is going to be about. Between Cecil's warped idea of filmmaking and the police who are trying to rescue Honey Whitlock, there is a lot of violence and mayhem.

At 109 minutes into the movie, the film crew watches TV and sees Roseanne Barr interviewing Honey Whitlock's ex-husband, played by Eric Roberts. Roseanne asks him if he had any idea that Honey would help Cecil B. Demented. Eric replies that he was married to Honey Whitlock for seven years and isn't surprised. Eric was on the screen for a grand total of 12 seconds.

Probably the best part of the movie was when the film crew hides in a theater showing a porno film in which Alicia Witt, is having sex with a gerbil.
