How do you get information for the Absolutely Unofficial Eric Roberts web page, since no-one is willing to give it to you officially?I get information several different ways. One way I get information is to go to the library. Several libraries near where I live have subscriptions to magazine databases that they let people use for free. At one library they have Daily Variety magazine which reports Hollywood news, and Back Stage West. Another way that I get information is from other people. People who have information about a new movie search the web for someone to chat with, find my web site and send me email. Sometimes it's someone who had to detour around the filming in their hometown. Sometimes it's an extra in the film. Sometimes, if I'm lucky, it's a director or producer. I also search the web for information. Some really good web sites are Up coming movies and The Internet Movie Database.
What's the relationship between Eric and Julia?Only Eric and Julia know what their real relationship is but their relationship seems to have improved a whole lot since Eric visited Julia at the hospital shortly after the birth of her twins. Then, in Shadow Men Eric makes a phone call and you can see his finger hit 555-0493. The 555 is a telephone company number used on TV to avoid using the phone number of a real person. But what is the significance of the number 0493 that was used in both films. Has the same number been used in any other films?

What's the ring Eric always wears on his right hand?It's certainly a ring that means a lot to him because he wears it all the time. Best Answer! I received a better answer from Morglynn who says that the ring appeared in 1992 and is a wedding ring. Eric's left ring finger was one of the things that got smashed in his 1981 car accident, making it better to wear his wedding ring on his right hand. But, she agrees, it does have the bonus of allowing him to keep it on even when he plays an unmarried character. Thanks, Morglynn! Another answer. I have an article from IN FASHION magazine (which is not the world's most reliable source) saying that Eric broke his hand in a "rodeo accident" when a horse stepped on it. This is the only place I have heard a "rodeo accident" mentioned. It sounds like horse pucky. But what's this??? The photo from IN FASHION magazine shows the ring on his LEFT hand. But, his watch, which is usually on his left wrist, is on his right wrist. IN FASHION reversed the photo!
