I was born oxford in 1980, in the John Radcliffe hospital. I was earlier than expected. for the first couple of weeks of my life I was kept one of those incubators that look like fish tanks. They called my sister Fred for the first week, which was cool to.
For about 4 or five years I cant really remember much, My mum tried to enrol me in the scouts, but I don’t think I was made for it. I lasted all of a day. Eventually I had to go to school.
Sibford Primary School (best remembered for the time I made a bicarbonate of soda rocket), then The Warriner School in a nearby place called Bloxham. Through Secondary school I was a very quiet child. I really didn’t ever get over the nerves you feel on the first day. I left there and went to collage, I had some good times at Secondary school, but I was happy to leave.
I went to college in Banbury. North Oxfordshire College I met people who actually wanted to do something. I started thinking about things, It was the start of me as I know myself now.
For years I had kept a diary, and now I began to write myself down a bit. Instead of just recording what had happened that day, I was now thinking as I wrote. Saying how I felt about things, I was working things out. I started making things as well, writing and generally working for the sake of it. I grew up and had motivation. It was a good time.
At the end of collage, most people I knew went straight to university. I didn't. Instead I decided to take a year out of the system, get to know myself a bit. I wrote, I worked. I earned money, and I wrote songs. After a year out of education I knew where I was going, and I knew what I wanted to do. I was a thinker, and now I was a writer to.
It was at this point that I went to university.
