Ray Kowalski woke up slowly, smiling at the feeling of the sunlight on his face. He stretched lazily and then rolled over to look at the man lying next to him.
He still couldn't quite believe where he was. When he and Fraser had returned to Chicago to find that Ray Vecchio had also returned- alone- Kowalski had been sure that Fraser would drop him like a hot potato. But that had not happened, and their love life continued to be as hot and lusty as it had been in the wilds of Canada.
Ray grinned and shook his head. Fraser looked so innocent when he was asleep, which was not the case when he was awake. Or when he had been awake late last night, anyway.
He ran his fingers lightly over the sleeping man's chest. "Fraser." He whispered. The other man didn't even stir.
"Fraser." He reached out and tweaked a nipple. Fraser moved slightly and mumbled something.
"Fraser." Ray leaned down and lightly bit one of Fraser's nipples, and Fraser gasped and his eyes flew open.
Blue eyes met blue, and Fraser smiled up at him. "Good Morning, Ray."
"Morning, Fraser. How are you doing this morning?"
Fraser grinned. "I'm doing very well. How about you?"
"The same." Ray smiled happily and leaned down for a kiss. "I've gotta get going though, or I'll be late for work."
"Let me fix you some breakfast."
"Nah, that's okay. I'll just grab some coffee on my way in."
"Ray, you need to eat more. No wonder you're so skinny."
"Fraser, if I wanted this lecture, I'd call my Mother."
"Understood." He watched as Ray got dressed. "Will I see you tonight?"
"Oh, yeah."
"Good." Fraser smiled happily and continued lying on the bed, staring at the door after it had closed.
Ray walked out of the apartment and paused when he saw the green Riviera parked a short distance down the street. Vecchio had been so happy and excited when he had found another one. Honestly, some people didn't know a sign from God when they saw one.
He walked down the street to the Riv, opened the passenger door and got into the car.
"Morning, Vecchio." He said, closing the door behind him.
"Morning, Kowalski." Ray gave Kowalski a sideways glance. "And how are you this morning?"
"I am just great, thank you kindly. Yourself?" Vecchio shrugged. "I'm okay."
Ray grinned. "Just okay, huh? Well, how long 'til you go in there?" He nodded in the direction of Fraser's apartment.
"About an hour."
"Well, hang in there. You can make it." Kowalski shook his head, and his grin widened. "So, Fraser still doesn't know that we know about each other?"
Vecchio shook his head. "Nope. He really doesn't. You know, for a Mountie, he can be pretty clueless sometimes."
"Yeah. A clueless slut. It's every man's dream."
Ray laughed, and Kowalski gave him a speculative look. "An hour, huh? That's a pretty long time."
Ray looked back at him, a smile spreading over his face. "It's all the time in the world."
Kowalski pulled on his seatbelt as Vecchio started the car and pulled away from the curb.
